Excellent barbeque, and, just as important, excellent potato salad. The onion rings are the best anywhere. I wish they’d franchise outside of Texas, you just can’t find good barbeque anywhere else.
I Have never had such better sweet tea. No one else can make it this good. It reminds me of good old fashion southern cooking
We went here because there were 2 reviews that said they had wonderful enchiladas, the enchiladas were terrible-I guess it was the sauce that was so bad, the salsa was not salsa-it tasted like couple of pepper seeds thrown into a bowl of ketchup. It was seat yourself and there were no tables, there ...
I HAVE BEEN EATING HERE SINCE I WAS JUST A KID ,AND HAVE RECENTLY MOVED OUT OF STATE AND WHEN I GO TO AMARILLO COUNTRY PRIDE IS THE FIRST PLACE I WANT TO GO TO EAT (DON'T TELL MOM)
I was referred here by a hotel clerk. She told me they had the best enchiladas in Amarillo. In my opinion County Pride has the best enchiladas in the United States! Awesome! A little obscure and off the beaton path but worth the hunt to find. I'm a truck driver and love good food. Country Pride ...
Where else can you get this quality of food for a fair price?
Grew up in Amarillo. Now live in Phoenix AZ via Chicago. Been eating there since 1974. Best Enchaladas and Chicken Fried Steak in usa/
armand smith
WOW!!! Definitely not your neighborhood cantina, but the cheese enchiladas are amazingly good! Make sure that you are hungry as they are big and cheesy!
This place has been around for over 50 years. The enchiladas are amazing and the sauce is a non tomato based sauce so of course it's different. The restaurant does have a sweet salsa which is their speciality but they do offer a "traditional" salsa too. The place has been seat yourself it's entir...
Lots of food for your money. Turkey and dressing special was just like moms.
While on a road trip to CA we stopped off in Amarillo for a night. On our way out of town the next morning this place caught our eye because of the retro Rt.66 looking building. We made a beeline there and were pleasantly hit with amazing sugary aromas and beautiful donut creations. I really enjoyed...
Best Damm Barbecue I ever had.
Since I don't enjoy being embarrassed in public, my experience was poor. The bartender wouldn't serve me because she can't understand out-of-state IDs. The food was cold but had solid flavor. Decent bbq, but I'm certain there are better places to go in Amarillo.
Went to Google for "Best Barbque in Amarillo". "Dyers" came up all over the place. The "house special" ribs were dry and barely room temperature. The fries were the same. Packed house at luch tho. Maybe another old restaurant living on an old reputation. Really a let down when you are looking for au...
The Award winning spareribs were a HUGE disappointment. Did NOT fall off the bone, and the end piece was tough. I pulled off fatty portion before I could eat them. The sauce was excellent on a poor quality of meat. We stopped on a road trip from Phoenix to Detroit based upon reviews on the inter...
My wife & I eat at Dyers on a regular basis and hate to miss a week with their excellent food. We are always greeted by friendly staff and they always find us a table one the wall. I always take my business clients to Dyers for their excellent Bar B Que and the great Western atmosphere.
My wife and I were traveling through Amarillo and I got a hankering for some BBQ. We are from a little town in East Texas, and are fortunate to have some of the best BBQ there is, thus we are well qualified to judge such an establishment. Overall, the visit was very enjoyable. In fact, everything wa...
