Bario's is a local Pizza Parlor in a small overcrowded strip of stores in Heatland Village. It was recently redecorated and hundreds of photos that once grace it's walls were removed. It is much more subdued now, done in quieter tans and browns, hopefully to cater to a less noisier and slightly ol...

Went to this restaurant over a year ago and it was nice. Wen't back again about 4 weeks ago and it just wasn't the same. The food was nothing to write home about. The on the way out I asked one of the folks who worked there if they had changed owners. The guy said no they just changed chefs. Wow, wh...
The best pizza on Staten Island, the two brothers who own this pizzeria have done their best work for over the last 20 years. They don't deliver because their pizza is so good people go running to them. Avoid the line-up on Friday afternoon, but even if you have to wait online it's worth it!
Best Pizza on Staten Island (that's right, better than Denino's). I've been ordering from this place for 25 years. The place is always packed. The Pizza is delicious - has just the right amount of ingrediants, sauce, cheese, always cooked to perfection. BTW, NO DELIVERY - Eat in or Carry Out.

SI friends suggested this very pretty, clean , friendly resturant. well worth the toll. food & service was excellent--hostess & bartender very friendly--no attitudes in this place. we made reservations for 12 for next week & booked a holiday party for 85 in the party room.. I have been bragging abou...
Mediocre dining experience at best. Don't bother with delivery. I live 2 blocks away, have ordered from this place a couple of times. Each time delivery took close to an hour and the Pizza was cold and undercooked.
A run in grab a slice to go place or an icee to go! Not a place cozy enough for a sit down meal. Pizza is good, their ices are fantastic, lots of flavors, nice sit down area outside for the summer months, inside not so nice. Doesn't look that clean or cozy for that matter due to it being very small ...
La Roccas is one of the best places to eat on staten island. between the great food and almost 200 flavors of ices where could you go wrong? Try there great food and there famous Ices and Ice Cream.

usually like dimly lit restaurants but pretty sure this was dark because it was dirty. went there as a guest at a birthday party, felt sorry for the host who paid. the waitress was the worst i've experienced, what little time she was at our table, bossy and lazy. there was no discerning that what i w...

Buona Pasta is a Staten Island treasure. Located in Great Kills he food is exceptional and the value is unsurpassed. New Ownership has turned it round in less than 2 years. Great Sauce
I had Sunday dinner there with my family (6) people all together. This place has been here a very long time with faithful regulars. It's an old school experience with food and service that is good. The fried calamari and clams oreganato were delicious. When I asked if they can make a simple pasta bo...

obviously the last rater was competition from another local restaurnat. Portobello is excellent. Try for yourself. Go on a 2 for 1 so you don't spend that much to find out. You will love it.

Went Saturday evening 11/3/07. The appetizer was excellent. The main courses were terrible. I ordered the stuffed pork chop, it was brought out burnt to crisp. I sent it back and the replacement had no flavor. There is no chef in this kitchen, only line cooks. My wife's fish, a special, was drowned ...

What a horrible expierience, my family and I were dining and while we were eating, seated near the entrance to the kitchen we overheard screaming and yelling. The profanity was absurd we later learned that it was the owner Ive never been so turned off to a place in my life. A bunch of Kids running a...

We ate there last week. 2 for 1 cash special. Service was very good, but a glass of seltzer was $2.50 with NO refills. The salad was terrible and the pasta tasted like sheetrock. It's a shame the city doesn't close it.

DINING AT PORTOBELLO WAS A MONTHLY RITUAL FOR MY FRIENDS AND I FOR THE PAST FEW YEARS. THE QUALITY OF FOOD HAS DETERIORATED. THE 'DA BEST CHICKEN PARM' WAS HORRIBLE. THE MANAGEMENT LOUDLY AND PUBLICALLY BERATED A WAITER ON THE OPEN FLOOR UPSETTING MANY PATRONS. ALSO ON ANOTHER OCCASSION, DURING A...

By far one of the most rudest and obnoxious experiences ive ever dealt with in my life, First lets start with the positive big portions and a good value, But lets think about that how can all this food be so cheap quality sub par i dont even think my veal was veal, tasted more like pork if you ask ...
