The interior is a bit dated, but the food was generally good. Tonight they had cashew chicken, singapore noodles, kung pao chicken, gen'l tso's chicken, plus all the apetizers: dumplings, egg rolls, wontons, etc. They do some szechen meals, too, if you want spicy. Not bad for a buffet.
I tried Bona because of recommendations, both on here and from some co-workers. I was quite disappointed. It took 10 minutes for anyone to come and take our order. A group who arrived after we arrived were served before we were (you would think it would be faster and easier to serve 2 people rather ...
II just returned from what may have been the worst food experience I have had in several years - El Meson - a Spanish restaurant located in South Minn. This evening a group of 8 of us ordered what should have been a signature dish - Valencia paella. What was served did not come close to what real p...
We had an excellent experience here! Friendly staff and awesome food. Very tasty!
I love everything about this place. The staff is fun and friendly, the owner is very sweet. The food is unique and delicious!!! Eggies is comfy which is everything you need in a Minnesota winter!
We have been ordering pizza from Beeks for more then 25 years. It is the best in town.
I had the Beef Kluska. It was delightful -a hint of sweet and sour. My husband had the 1/2 rack of spare ribs. The ribs were very tender and the sauce was delicious - not overpowering and not too sweet.
Good food. Service is mediocre at best.
The food is too oily, there was pieces of unknown burnt black things like burnt wok or burnt bugs in our food. I wouldn't dare eat there again.
What a great breakfast. Old diner style. When the food gets to your table it is hot. Great wait staff and the owner stops by your table to say hi. The food is fresh.
One of the star's of Minneapolis. This place is a cultural institution. Fun Polish food, and look for the accordion polka on the weekends (or whenever it is). Call for reservations on the weekends. Last time we were there we saw the red hat ladies.
Another U of M institution. Authentic chineese dish where you can get standard or off-beat chineese fare. You may even end up sitting by a Mah-Jong player on the right night. Pretty cool Chineese experience, can almost feel chinatownesque.
Yes, typical college bar. U of M institution.
Stop by for a hot sandwich and a beer while touring campus or for a value night out. Long live the Big 10!
Let me first state that my wife and I are fond of Pepitos and we live in the neighborhood. This afternoon we decided to stop in for a late lunch and sit outside being that it was a beautiful day. My wife ordered a Mexican BBQ Pizza... which we have many times in the past. She found it entirely too s...
A local coffee shop with a nice atmosphere, many small tables and two loveseats as well. Although the food that was offered was much better a few years ago, since they switched almost everything to vegan products now they are attracting a whole new crowd. The service has always been amazing, and t...
Best chicken wings in the history of the free world. Tue and Thurs special is fantastic. Be very careful, you will be seduced by the herbs and spices (not like KFC-these are good) and will lose interest in all other aspects of life. I shall never be free of my undying craving for my lovely wings....
Good Service. Good food. The owner is a bitch. But... They deliver downtown. So I love them.
THe Best Gyros in the city!
