The interior is a bit dated, but the food was generally good. Tonight they had cashew chicken, singapore noodles, kung pao chicken, gen'l tso's chicken, plus all the apetizers: dumplings, egg rolls, wontons, etc. They do some szechen meals, too, if you want spicy. Not bad for a buffet.

We have been ordering pizza from Beeks for more then 25 years. It is the best in town.
I had the Beef Kluska. It was delightful -a hint of sweet and sour. My husband had the 1/2 rack of spare ribs. The ribs were very tender and the sauce was delicious - not overpowering and not too sweet.
Good food. Service is mediocre at best.
The food is too oily, there was pieces of unknown burnt black things like burnt wok or burnt bugs in our food. I wouldn't dare eat there again.
What a great breakfast. Old diner style. When the food gets to your table it is hot. Great wait staff and the owner stops by your table to say hi. The food is fresh.
One of the star's of Minneapolis. This place is a cultural institution. Fun Polish food, and look for the accordion polka on the weekends (or whenever it is). Call for reservations on the weekends. Last time we were there we saw the red hat ladies.
Another U of M institution. Authentic chineese dish where you can get standard or off-beat chineese fare. You may even end up sitting by a Mah-Jong player on the right night. Pretty cool Chineese experience, can almost feel chinatownesque.

Best chicken wings in the history of the free world. Tue and Thurs special is fantastic. Be very careful, you will be seduced by the herbs and spices (not like KFC-these are good) and will lose interest in all other aspects of life.
