I visited the restaurant as a Tourist. The restaurant being empty, I was seated promptly. However, I was not served. I waited patiently for 15 minutes - regularly catching the eyes of passing waiters - but still they refused to serve me. I wonder if there were any racial motives, but the inciden...
Had the most wonderful dining experience and salads in a long time. If you're looking for people who serve food with care, flavor and a smile, you need to go to Happy Cream for a Black Bottom Salad and ice cream. I send everyone I know.
Happy Cream has the best atmosphere. The staff is so inviting and hospitable. The food is delicious and they are eager to give you a sample. The ice cream is great, too.
5 stars restaurant
The food was excellent! I went with my 2 children and they ate everything to the last drop. My 2 year old is a picky eater but, she wasted no time diving into the Chicken & Rice Gumbo. They had no problem giving out samples. Everything I sampled, I bought. The sauce they use on their turkey sandwich ...
GREAT GERMAN FOOD! I GO THERE ALL THE TIME.
I really liked their uniqueness of cooking and hospitality. My children liked the food and felt at home there.
This is the best soul food resturant in detroit. Now I have been to quite a few in my time but their food is truly like homemade. I usually get the smothered chicken with yams and macoroni and cheese. Their yams are the number one best. Truly test better than the ones made at home.
This restaurant is a very nice place eat
I ordered a takeout dinner. I got home and in my food was a roach. I was disgusted and went back and they told me that they usually didn't have roaches in their food. I never went back.
This resturant is such a wonderful Mexican expierience! You must try this resturant! The Service is great, but the food is better!
Ever time I come to Detroit I eat here. My favorite appetiser is their steaks bites. Best atmosphere LOVE IT....
the food there is mouth watering!
GREAT FOOD WONDERFUL INTERIOR GREAT SERVICE
Had dinner there last night and have to say it is one of Mexican Towns best kept secrets! The food was authentic and delicious. This 23 year old family owned and operated business is expanding so it can only get better. Appropriate atmosphere for a family dinner or business lunch/dinner. The own...

The worst of southwest Detroit's Mexican restaurants. I ordered the Chile Rellenos and got a green pepper! That is NOT "authentic". Try Lupita's. It's just a few steps away, much cheper and much tastier.

This place is famous for their Mussels. I tried the ones in a garlic broth. They were really good! Try the Feather Bowling for a unique after dinner experience!
Really a hidden treasure. I've been on Sunday for the buffet and during the week. I don't usually eat from buffets, but the food was served by a staff member. The food and the service was wonderful.

My only trip to Pizza Papalis came on the night of my friend's wedding rehearsal, and it was a memorable time at this restaurant. Both food and service was exquisite, and since I have returned from Detroit, I have recommended it to everyone that has plans to travel to Detroit in the very future. T...
