the service was great...the waitstaff very attentive. the owner was very engaged with our children as we ate, which began to be overstepping boundries as he tickled and invited them behind the bar to wash glasses(unexceptable). as the meal ended and we enjoyed our cocktails the owner removed everyth...
Having lived in Southern California from 1985 till 2008 i know authentic Mexican food Armando's was a totally wonderful surprise. Born and raised in Detroit I never knew of this neighborhood till coming back to visit and was turned on to Mexican Village by a local. This is as good as what you'll f...

On a recommendation I went to Senor Lopez for Breakfast... It was truly disappointing. The Chiliquites were soupy and lacked any flavor. My guest ordered the steak and eggs, the eggs were overdone the steak (flank) was so thin and a strange color of grey. The flour tortia were as hard as a rock....
Great food! Not greasy, fairly priced, excellent and fast service. Casual atmosphere. The only reason I give it a three for kid friendly is because there's no changing station in the bathroom. We think this is the best Mexican in Detroit!!!
This restaurant has great food but service is too long.

Only the best place in all of Detroit. I come from Florida after being raised in Windsor just to eat there.(Ok and see family too)but we meet at Xochimilkos' for a pitcher of Margeretas and some flaming cheese. 2 thumbs up.

Let me tell you this place in Port Arthur Texas needs a new manager. The restaurant is 3 days old it was the most horrible experience we have ever encountered. Taco Bell is NOT Mexican food. It looks like it, but looks can be and in this case are deceiving.

Horrible food, much worse than you can imagine. Mainly for tourists and people who don't know better, the "McDonalds of Mexican Town". Try Lupita's for much better food, service, and price. It's right next door
We have been going there for years and recently moved but we gladly drive 1 1/2 hours for a great meal. The food is great and you really get your money's worth. The staff is great, but could be a bit friendlier. Have turned a lot of people on to the Mexican Village Restaurant. I'm even planning on...
As part of a group of 3 couples all over 40 years of age, we were unimpressed with your party policy. The waitress refused to give us 3 bills, and some in our party were paying with credit cards. Your waitress assured us that we owed her $10.00 in tips, which we were planning to pay tips anyway, but...

We attended a Memorial Service At Ste Anne's Church and had lunch at Mi Puenlo following mass. The food was authentic and delicious, the service was excellent, and the restaurant is beautiful. It was a most pleasant experience.

We love going to Xoch's once a month. My family says it is the closest you can get to being authentic mexican food. Everytime we have guests in from out of town, we take them to Xoch's.
