It was one of the best shrimp we have ever eaten. Try BBQ shrimp. Also Creme Brulee is delicious. It is hard to beat....
One word describes it: Excellent.

First of all we love your food. But, on the last two occasions that we visited your restaurant we were very disappointed in the service. The fist time our appetizer came after our dinner. Then last night our appetizer, and dinner, and salad came all at the same time. We expressed our disappointment ...
BY FAR THE FINEST DINING EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD

On our vacation we visited this restaurant twice. Both times we ordered the Shrimp Scampi and both times it was excellent. It was so good we had a plate made to take home to our family to try. We will definetely recommend this restaurant to our friends.
I have had breakfast here twice, and dinner once and so far have been pleased. I will be returning for breakfast while on business in July. First, I must say there is no way to justify the price they charge for breakfast, but you know that going in. At least so far I have found the food served to be...

Irene's was suggested by a local couple. There is a wait for dinner after 630pm, however the french gentleman in the piano bar is very entertaining and you have an opportunity to mingle with other guests. The food is spectacular and very reasonably priced for such an upscale resturant. A must do in...
If it weren't for the Bananas Foster the rating would be much lower. We knew going in to "Brennans for breakfast" it was going to be expensive. However what we didn't expect was poor service, a burnt English Muffin with the $28 eggs Benedict and the waiter forgetting abuot our Bananas Foster-the m...

For our honeymoon my husband and I went to New Orleans, and a friendly cab driver suggested Irene's to us...and it was the best advice we ever got!We make sure to stop in every time we pass through town, and we let everyone know it's one of the best restaurants in the French Quarter!

I thought I had been drinking coffee for years, but after tasting the French Market Coffee with chicory, I knew I had just been sipping hot water. This should never be missed by a visitor to New Orleans.

One of the best restaurants in the country... period. Sure it has its own charm, but the food... amazing.

Having read good reviews of Irene's, my husband and I went there, expecting the atmosphere to be romantic, the service good, and the food outstanding. We knew there would be a wait because they don't take reservations. But on arrival at 8 PM, we were taken to a back room next to the restrooms where ...

We will reccomend this to everyone we know who will be visiting New Orleans. The only problem we had was the first time we went to eat, the wait was an hour and a half. So we left for an hour and came back and they had given up our table. One of our party was mad about that and didn't want ot tr...
I have never had a dining experience that missed my expectations by such a wide margin. The food was average, at best. The service was the worst I've ever had in a resturant where I didn't have to carry my own tray.

You must have beignets and coffe au lait here!! The food is great...don't drink the coffee black, foreigner...with cream, please. The constant stream of humanity, the traveling musicians... the Quarter at its best!

We've had their muffellettas (sp) and seafood gumbo two years in a row and have been very pleased each time. The food is very good and the price, for being in the "Quarter", is definately right!
We had lunch there..the rice and beans were great. The building is from the 1700's...as one expects from the "Quarter".
The Queen of New Orlean's restaurants. There is no better! However...if you're on a budget...go there for lunch...it's a whole lot cheaper and you get the same ambiance, service, and food.

Watch out for Dustin!! He's a waiter there who can sell freezers to Eskimos. He conned us into expensive appetizers...saying, "Try these...I prepared myself today"...as though they were samples of what we could order. Wrong! The food was very good...no problem there...but...be careful in what yo...
