excellent food ...have eaten there three times...great meals each time...each visit with a different person,,,they also rated food as excellent...Wangs is great but i think Wans is as good and a better value if you can accept the informal dinimg room
Seated after a short wait, within 10 minutes of reservation time.Very pleasant and authentic Japanese decor.Excellent sushi.Friendly and entertaining chef cooked meal at our table.Combination filet and shrimp very good, and reasonably priced. All in all,a vey pleasant dining experience.
their shrimp with red house sauce was sho enuff tasty...friendly service...
I had an overall ok experiance and my waitress was a very sweet girl but I think the food as over priced for what you got.
This place is a big deal on TV because of Paula Deen and how huge she is here in Savannah and on Food Network so off we went.I WAS SO DISAPOINTED!!!Greasy food, bland tasting, just UGH!!!I was underwelmed by it all. There was a huge line to get in and if I knew the food was that nasty and greasy,I woul...
was reciently in savannah and ate at spankys on river street. the cheese and shrimp on a warm pita with their famous spanky spuds ( a battered and fried potatoe slice) was delicious. located in an old warehouse and the decor is really fitting with river street. Will go again.
I come to Savannah every year in seach of bar-b-que and let me tell you Barnes is awful!!!! They skimp on thier bar-b-que sauce that is too vinegary anyway and the meat is overly fatty. The prices are a little high too compared to other resturaunts in the area. The sweet tea is watered down and not ...
I visited this facility on Friday, August 4th and found that the service was awful. There were six adults in my party, Four dinner salads were ordered, 1 steak, 1 combo Fujita, 1 steak dinner. The service of the waiter was excellent.
The tortilla came that was as hard a nacho and the steak shou...
While the food was good and the restaurant obviously cared for, the waitress was terrible. She knew little English, her hair was an oily mess and was slovenly in appearance. What a disappointment.
I am originally from Savannah Georgia and I grew up eating at this fine resturaunt...but as of late as they keep expanding their quality is going DOWN HILL! I recently ate at the one in Pooler, GA (which is a suburb of Savannah.) and my seafood was so greasy I had heartburn for the rest of the day. ...
I am a Native of Savannah, and Carey Hillards has always been a very nice place to dine, but lately, it has gone down hill. I am so upset because I eat out at least 2 times per week, and I use to frequent Carey Hillards alot. Today I went there and the sweet tea was awful, it use to be the best in...
I've eaten at Hilliard's on Skidaway (and all other locations) since it opened. I also ate REGULARLY at Bill Hilliard's in Thunderbolt.
I give ALL 3's because Hilliard's, once "Savannah's Favorite" is no longer consistent. You simply take "pot luck" when you go to ANY of their locations. Sometim...
I have been eating here since I was a child. I now live in Fl. Recently was in Savannah for vacation. I love the BBQ plate, but for the first time, I could not eat the Brunswick stew. It was so spicy and hot I was unable to eat it. It was NEVER this hot ever before. You have lost several loyal cust...
I usually love eating here, but the woman at the desk who takes the bills is such a turn off. She is unfriendly, does not smile, say thank you, or anything. Also you can't change your drink after you order it, (ie a sweet tea to rootbeer). They will charge you for both. I have never heard of a r...
I've been eating Korean food for many years at home and in restaurants in NY, LA, and Atlanta and Kim Chi II is lacking in a few areas. First of all when Koreans visit a restaurant the first thing they look at is the side dishes. When you go to a Korean restaurant you are served small side dishes wi...
Ok food, poor service. The hours of operation are a lie - DO NOT expect to eat here when YOU want, expect to eat when THEY want you to. Forget your plans, forget going to Savannah for a fun time away from the office, forget life.
Do yourself a favor and go across the street. Ask for Scott.

I always thought CH has one of the best shrimp salad's around, after tonight I won't eat them any more and may not eat there at all. The shrimp salad tasted like it has minced canned shrimp, it was eatable but barely
My wife and I stopped for a drink, we are in our 50s. My wife did not have her ID so she was refused service. Later we were told that we had to leave. When I pointed out that it was obvious that we were both over 21 we were told, “if you don’t like it, don’t come back. We will not be going back.
Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting. Horrible food, suspicious-tasting sushi, and boring waitstaff. This place is an insult to Japan and Asian culture. Go to Tangerine instead.
I am not sure about this carrey hillards but they have one in pooler. Let me just say dont pay with your debit card. The food was good and the service was good but when you pay with your debit card they automatically take out 20% for a tip without telling you. So if you leave a cash tip on the table...
