Garibaldis Cafe was the dining highlight of our trip to Savannah. The atmosphere was pleasing, the decor was eclectic with hints of old southern and Victorian. Our waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu as well as the full selection of wines, and the staff went out of their way to accommodate a...
The view is fantastic, the Red Beans and Rice, classic!
It's the 5 time we've been in several years, and we love it everytime!
Shrimp factory is in a great location the restaurant itself had a nice atmosphere. Food was good but the service did not make the experience as well as I expected it to be. The plates were a bit over priced, at the end of the meal it did not feel like I got what I payed for.
I live in Jacksonville, FL but visit Savannah a few times a year. We always stop here for lunch. They have 3 or 4, (I can't remember) rows of buffet items. There is a very large selection. Everything is always fresh and hot. The food is excellent. Service is very friendly.
Been coming to Savannah for years and always enjoyed the ambience and antebellum trappings of the Gryphon Tea Room. Unfortunately the art crowd (I myself am an artist) convinced the management of the Gryphon to mix modern concepts and the tastefull furnishings of the Gryphon and succeded in ruinnin...
Eat at Barnes frequently and find their service as good as most other restaurants.
If you get takeout check your order and if you are short on any sauce, etc they will happily give you more.
Prices are somewhat higher than some other places but not prohibitively so.
A recent remodel makes s...
For being located in a little strip mall, the interior of Bella's is impressive, however, the ambience could still use a little sprucing up. I would definitely suggest the addition of some sort of music to liven up the atmosphere. The waitstaff also wears shorts and t-shirts - I think they could i...
I love the food and the people!!!!!!! Did I mention the food?!
awesome breakfast and great corn-beef
i went into this place in 1972 and i remember that you sat down and a waitress brought your food after you picked it out. i had a ribeye steak and the best mac and cheese i ever ate. i came back again but the place was jammed packed with buses from florida a&m
The freshness of the wonderful seafood, I wish I were there how for fresh oysters and shrimp. Always great food and always a long wait to be seated for dinner. However, We have found the food has been worth the wait. Just have a drink and relax.
Well for starters... we were waiting to be seated and my son was pinched by a lobster that got out of the tank. Then the waitress dropped our food. So finally when we got our food it was mm mm good!
I am originally from Savannah but have lived in NC for the past 20 yrs. I plan trips to Savannah for one reason only ... to go to Carey Hilliard's!! In fact I'm headed down again in April 06 for several days and I anticipate that I will eat there 4 or 5 times during my stay!! CH has always had great...
I always like eating at Hilliards when I come into Savannah from Columbia, SC. The seafood is great. I especially enjoy the shrimp and oysters.
Good family resturant with excellent prices for the value. Ask for the Waiter "Bill" he was friendly and efficient.
great place to just ask for your food to be freshly cooked.
I grew up eating at carey Hilliards. The service is fast and the food comes out quick. My mom worked for The original Mr Hilliard in the 60s on Skidway Road. My Favorite is the Bq Plate. I alway's order the same thing. I love the sweet tea.. I also like the hamburger steak and club sandwich. I will...
We have ordered take out from this restaurant on three occasions. Twice we had it delivered and it was very prompt and the food was still warm. On the other, we ordered there and took it home. They were very fast, friendly, and had a number of suggestions for our dining experience. I would defin...
What a wonderful place! Food was cheap, but the lady at the front of the store was unpleasant. Frank was our server. He is sexy!!!!!!!!!
The service has always been fine when I've been there. The food, by and large, is very good. Plus, it's not like you have a whole lot of choice in the Savannah Korean restaurant scene. The o ky way to get better Korean food is to make it yourself or drive 4 hours to Atlanta.
