Everytime I've ordered a chili cheese coney with mustard and onions, they have always managed to forget something. This restaurant has wonderful food! You wouldn't be able to tell just by first glance. It looks like a hole-in-the-wall, but has delicious food! It's really authenticaly Mexican! I totally recommend it! =)
Bad service and even worse food. We will NEVER visit this restaurant ever again. Very disappointing!

It used to be a LOT better than it is now. The desserts and salads were wonderful. But the meat was tough as shoe leather and so was the lobster.. on TWO separate occasions.
The server forgot several requests, our bill was totaled incorrectly and then my account was charged twice with two conflicting amounts and both amounts were different from the amount on my bill which I signed. Very romantic fondue restaurant with low-key ambiance. Extensive wine list. Get the vegetable bullion instead of oil.
This is a wonderful place to go for an up scale meal. Be prepared to shell out around 45.00 a person, but it is well worth it.

To the commenter below....the whole point of fondue is to cook it yourself. How this could have escaped you, especially since the restaurant is listed "The Melting Pot, a fondue restaurant" is kind of strange.

Salad was wilted, dressing was weak, service was awful. Employees were sitting at tables, smoking and talking while my glass sat empty. My companion was served at least 10 minutes before I even seen my order, although the crab legs were almost worth the wait....almost.
The food was fresh & well prepared. The service was just right. They are the only place we have eaten at while vacationing on the coast where the fish & seafood was local & not frozen. Going back tonight.
My breakfast experiences are always the same. The order taker sounds more like a drill sargeant. She says "Have a nice day", but might as well be saying Go Away! Don't expect personal service, they will slam the door on your face before you can get a word in. The food is a good value, and it's c...

Lived in Japan for 3 years, I may be a little harsh so I upped my star rating. I found the yaki tori sauce to be weak. The tempura was a little more bland than I remember. Everything else was fine.
Compared to other restaurants of this kind I would find another hibachi than eat at Yamato's. The food was average yet the servings were less than what one would expect. Prices were on the high side. The table we sat at was sticky. Tokyo is far superior.
