Joe's Place is family and locally owned. Great quality food with fast and friendly servers. They went above and beyond for our table.
Very Delicious...just very smokey
This is the worst Indian cuisine I've ever tried. I am Indian, and I have traveled extensively. The food here is rancid. There is so much oil that it layers out onto the top of the food dish. The chef feels like the extra oil "enhances the flavor of the food." We ordered chicken makhni and the sauce...
Cafe Gardens used to be a great place to hang out, enjoy finger food, and listen to good music. The service is, and always was, terrible, the worst in a town known for bad service. I used to play in a band there. The management used to actually get mad that our friends came and stayed and ate and...
This is a good Thai place near my house. The food here is really good. I don't reccomend the Pad Thai if you are accustomed to american version of this dish (with syrupy peanut sauce) Their version is more like the Pad Thai you would find in Thailand. The best thing about Tim's is that you can h...
This is the best mexican place in town. I have been eating here for years and have never had a bad experience.
They have opened a second location on 39th Ave NW & I-75, behind burger king. If you plan on going during the weekend dinner rush be prepared to wait a bit (it's very popular). Also,...
I was very impressed. Sitting outside on the deck made me feel like I was far away from Gainesville and on vacation. It's tucked back away from the road so you don't get the noise pollution. Food was fantastic and drinks were a good price and tasted good. I will definitely be back!
Enjoy all of their dishes. Tried more then a few, all good. Crab Rangoon could be less crunchy, but still good. Won Ton Soup is good. Boneless spareribs are really good. Take out from there all the time. Wish they delivered.
The pad thai had moldy sprouts in it. when the cook was informed she became hostile and slammed the dish on the table and yelled at our party. Completely horrible experience.
Food and service great. Food is different than all of the chains. Nice outside deck. Great place for some drinks
This is your typical gainesville restaurant: mediocre grilled food for the student population who don't know a real restaurant and staffed by the local student population. There's also cheap beer, but there's a liquir store next door, so how cheap is debateable.
The service is terrible. The resta...
Our server wouldn't stop flirting with my wife. We got in a fight later and she single handedly ruined our 5 year anniversary. If you go there, do not get served by any lanky blond girl.
Amelia's was delicious. There is an incredible variety of food available, along with amazing daily specials to choose from. The service is friendly and knowledgeable. It is perfect for a great date night or a night out with friends. The outside seating is perfect on a cool night, especially to enjoy...
Nice atmosphere and that's about it. Awful service mediocre food for high prices.
I have eaten at La Fiesta for over 17 years the food is always great and service friendly. I like the new location on 39th Ave but even if it wasn't there I would drive the extra miles back to the old location. Best Mexican in Gainesville
I dine frequently with my dad at the 13th street location and have found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating. They are also at times extremely busy. I always see that they are working hard and doing their best. As a nurse I can appreciate juggling several things at once. My dad loves t...
The Gainesville store on Waldo Road is the original but no longer owned by the Tillman family. We have eaten there since opened and it is a great value with great food and service.
awesome pork appetizer and martinies
If they are known for their burgers, they should find something else. Nothing spectacular, nothing seemingly homemade. Overall it's a mediocre joint good for quarters with frat boys with a creepy owner to boot.
La Fiesta is the best mexican restaurant in Gainesville! It's fast, friendly, & GREAT FOOD!It's hard to find a restaurant in Gainesville that gets you in and out with in minutes.I recommend trying to finish one their AWESOME Jumbo MARGARITAS (the size of your head) by yourself!!!
