We were very excited to try this restaurant but were sadly disappointed. The service was slow, the food was just ok, and the prices were pretty steep. I would find another Thai restaurant in Ft. Walton or Destin the next time I go back to the beach.

Bay Cafe has an amazing menu. The Chef is both creative and skilled. The food is always fresh and of the highest quality. My husband has been a chef at several high end restaurants and this is one of the VERY few restaurants he enjoys in Fort Walton.

Been seeing lots of negative reviews, but my wife and I have dined here several times and been very happy. Food may take some extra time, but it's fresh-made and tasty. Servers are attentive and friendly (at least to us). Highly recommend!

I freakin' LOVED it.
We first ate at old bay steamer in the fall of 2006 LOVED it. We recently returned a few days ago and were GROSSLY disappointed. It appears as if the staff was sabotaging the food and the waiter was dispassionate and uncaring. The food was cold & underecooked. 3 thumbs down
This is the worst place in Fort Walton. Way over priced. Food had no taste. Not kid friendly. Terrible service. The venue was nice but the experience was not fine dining at all. Terrible.
