Excellent food and wine selection, including some of the best desserts around! Service is great, featuring a very friendly and accomodating staff! This is a perfect restaurant for special occasions or everyday fine dining.
Great place to go. I have gone in several times since moving to CT and NEVER disappointed. Don't save this place as a "special occasion" dining experience....go as soon as you can...definitely worth it...Filet Mignon is excellent!!!
This past Monday a friend invited me and two of our book club ladies out to dinner, we all enjoyed our meal, and the prompt services we recived. The food was great, we also had a very nice waitress. I was most impress with the resturant manager walking my friend to her car. That’s was very nice of...
It is a shame I nolonger live in the South End of Hartford because I can't shop at Adlof's as much as I used to. I have shopped their for 20 years and received the best quality food. My personal favorites are the smoked garlic keilbasa, special easter keilbasa, and at Christmas their Swwedish Korv...
We travel from Upstate NY to visit Adolph's for their out of this world smoked Sausages and meats. The neighborhood's a littel rough, but we brave it to get the BEST kilbasi in the northeast. The ladies behind the counter are a little ethnic and its kind of neat to hear them bantering with each ot...

I went to Solmar to pick up some fresh fish when I noticed they had started frying their fish on premises. Which I think is great because now I can have fresh fried fish without the smell in my house! Just pick out the fish from the cooler and the friendly employees do the hard work. They also have ...

Terrific establishment from the minute we arrived, a host was there to open the door for us. We were promptly seated, our server was a very nice young lady to who explained to us there specials as well as some of her personal favortie items on the menu. We both got burgers, and boy were they the bes...
My new favorite restaurant! Its so good. Best food I've ever tasted.
The food is outstanding, reasonable price and good service. Comfortable booth seating. Tables a little less. Specials are always tops. Very busy on FRI and SAT PM
YUM!!!
I've been going to Lenas for over 20 years and the food gets better. There's a better selection and great desserts. The only negative is that the specials are a little pricey. But that doesn't spoil her reputation. One can always find themselves greeted with a cheerful smile and the waitstaff is ver...
Fantastic food! The day that we went it was pooring outside and the waiter walked us out to our cars with "his" umbrella!
Don't let the outside fool you--it doesn't look like much. The food is fabulous--original, well prepared and interesting. I don't recall the names of what I ate but I've been there at least 5 times and my diner companions and I have never been disappointed.

City Fare's not just a caterer, it's my favorite Hartford restaurant! Don't be fooled by the outside; it looks a bit like a garage, but once inside, there's original art on the walls and you're surrounded by wonderful food and sophisticated crowd that appreciates fine lunch fare. Standard offerings ...
A great place to get excellent food before a UCONN game. This small eatery on Franklin Street is a gem in the rough. Try their special potato, spinach, and sausage pizza or a bowl of their pasta fagiole soup as a snack before an authentic Italian dish. It looks like a small sub shop, which it is, ...
Good comfort food in large portions. Veal dish was very good but the shrimp dish seemed a bit overdone. Sausage and peppers were fine. Service was attentive, prompt, and pleasant.
