Vinny & staff are the best. I have eaten there for over 15 years and have not never had a bad meal or bad service. They are also very generous to the community. I have recommended them to many friends over the years and they have become frequent diners as well. Sharon Stone

I grew up a navy brat up and down the East coast. My mother grew up in Hartford and North Kingstown, R.I. I was raised on their grinders, and now live in South Carolina. But I always stop to get grinders every chance I get when I go up there to visit family. You will not get a better sandwich anywhere else in the world! I'd stake my life on that ! Honest to God! The best bank for your buck!

an excellent choice for well priced italian food on franklin ave.grinder shop setting but great food. penne with spinach and garlic and olive oli to die for.
even catch an early dinner, they close at 7.

Best Itialan resturant around! The grinder are stack high and deliciuos. They have the best beef cult in CT. You won't ever get a bad meal!

A great place to get excellent food before a UCONN game. This small eatery on Franklin Street is a gem in the rough. Try their special potato,spinach, and sausage pizza or a bowl of their pasta fagiole soup as a snack before an authentic Italian dish. It looks like a small sub shop, which it is, but don't be afraid to give it a try.
