Delicious food... tremendous flavor. Excellent service and an overall wonderful dining experience. Whenever we are in SF, we go to the Empress!

This restaurant disabused me of the notion that there is no bad Thai food. The chicken with cashews redefines the concept of bland. There were very few cashews and even less flavor. None, really. It was cheap ($4.95), but you get what you pay for. The chicken satay was slightly bettter, but the acco...

While the trout cheek appetizer didn't quite make it for us (overdone cheeks, floury sauce) the sushi was indeed "to die for." Of course, it may be that coming from Chicago our taste buds weren't used to such freshness, such melt in your mouth consistency! It ruined us for whatever sushi we get he...

It was a wonderful experience, upon entering the front door until exiting, beautiful decor and wonderful food. Service was excellent.
Great food and OK service. I always get the seafood saute (love the garlic in it). I have been going to Scoma's for years. The last few times I felt they were just packing us in. The table I had with my wife was literally connected to the table next to us. Stangers actually joined our conversation. ...
I feel that this small french restaurant provided the greatest meal for the money. The prixe fixe menu is a great deal and offers great food. My wife and I both found the service to be superb, which is sometimes unheard of in a french restaurant.

Very fun place with really unique decor. The tables are lit-up in a funky blue light with a glass top. Very fun!! The best part is the food and Cocktails. A definite must see in SF!

This place was a LOT of fun!! Everything from the funky Blue Lit tables to their exotic menu and cool tropical drinks. This place should catch on pretty quick, so take a visit before they get too popular. Loved the Azeka Hawaiian style Beef Tacos, Ahi Poki (Mmmm!!), and their Ahi Maki Plate. Dis...

It's the gem of the Richmond district in S.F. IT's been open for nearly four years, owned and run by Philippe and Ellen Gardelle who are on-site every night closely supervising everything, chatting at tables, racing out the door after you to say goodbye if somehow you have managed to slip out of th...
My wife and I stumbled onto this small, storefront restaurant one rainy evening and enjoyed one of the more romantic dinners we could imagine. Jackson Fillmore is not a pricey, upscale establishment, but the combination of the bustling waitstaff, steamy windows, soft Opera music and lovely, well-pre...
The waitress describe a meal incorrectly. I ended up with a bland grilled fish with red butter slop.
Bring the kiddies, bring the wife..... Nice family establishment. No cursing, no fights, no losers, no shots of tequila every ten minutes... Just stay away from the short guy.

Great place! The food is awesome, you can never go wrong with the fresh fish, especially the salmon or seabass. It's a perfect restaurant for a date, romantic, dimly lit, wonderful atmosphere. Cool bar, they make some of the best cocktails in the city.

One of the most popular brunch spots in San Francisco has just opened for dinner. Scott Simms has brought a new touch of class to Doidge's by designing a superb new, brasserie style menu. Selections are limited, but every one of them is on the menu for a reason- they are all worth going back for. No...

This is a great little secret tucked away in the eclectic and fun Hayes Valley. Convenient to the opera, symphony and ballet, Indigo's staff makes every effort to accomodate the 'pre-show' diner with speedy yet excellent service. Even a casual Thursday diner won't seem so casual when you try their...
This place USED to have it. They lost it several years ago when they forced Indian food onto the menu. Dudes: read my lips: FOCUS. Pizza... Indian cuisine... I don't get it. They were way better before they took out the bar and gentrified the place. Sunset dwellers don't want such niceties in ...
This place RULES. Dennis and his family are artisans of a lost craft in this dotcom world, a world that is strip malled and chained out. This place is CORE. It's a JOINT and it can't be beat.

Good food in a nic environment. Service is somewhat stiff. Not as good as Tu Lan Vietnamese Restaurant.

It is a very nice restaurant, with a real Italian atmosphere.
