Hal O Penos Mexican Cafe has reopened on the NWC of 51st Ave and Northern. Best Mexican food on the West side is back. Sun thru Thurs 11am to 9pm; Friday thru Saturday 11am to 10pm.
Please if anyone finds that they have relocated, post it here. I'd gone there for 17 years. No one has a better Pollo Fundito. The food and service were awesome Hal's, please come back
Hal's as we know it has closed as of 12/16/12. I do underrstand the sign on the door said they hoped to relocate soon. Oh please, oh please reopen. I love this place. Been going there for 15 yrs or more. Nothing compares. The staff was great, service great and the food amazing.
Very good food at a great price. Authentic, clean and great service. And as a bonus honest workers, I left my cell phone there and didn't realize it until the next day. They saved it for me!

We have been customers since this location open and have been extremely happy with business both food and service. However during recent visits the restaurant temperature has been warm and unconstable. The AC should be repair or replace.

My family and I have been going there for 10 + years. We are all now grown and married and live scattered around the valley, but we all still go to Hal's. Salsa is unbeatable. Love FUNDIDO! Chips are delish. Great prices! LOVE LOVE LOVE!
This restaurant is excellent! I've dined at the Power & Southern location for over 6 years. I've had other favorites in the past, but none as good as Serrano's. I dine out a lot. my father and grandfather have eaten almost every meal away from home, and I always have, too. Out of all the places,...

Bahia de Guaymas was a great place and has a real Mexican taste- love the food almost tried every dish- recommended!
My family and I dined there tonight and the food was OK. HOWEVER, the host/manager for the night was not welcoming. Upon arrival and following a request for a booth away from the bar his SARCASTIC comment to us was "sure, we can seat you back there (indicating a booth toward the rear of the main se...

So I just stood waiting by the register, waiting to be seated. After a while, I sait on the "Waiting to be seated" bench by the door. Then another person walke...
