I have been to this location for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Either I don't get the full correct order, or I wait 25-30 minutes for my order. Behind the counter the fry station is dirty and the drink station in the drive thru is old and the legs are broken, not to mention the tile has came up. T...

One word to describe this place is unaccommodating. They will not allow you to bring in your tea that you were drinking in the car. Do not ask for separate checks. Don't ask to change your order or to add-on to an existing order that has already been submitted to the "chef". Don't be phased when...

Do not ever order from Capone's!! They have the rudest delivery drivers EVER!! The food is not that bad, but not worth the service. I was staying at a hotel and the delivery boy wouldn't even come up to my room to deliver my food even though I asked him if he could. He said no and asked me to come d...

the lasagna wasn't cooked all the way, there was alfredo sause coming out of the containers and had made quite the mess before we even started eating, the driver stacked all aour food on a pizza box which the toppings ended up being more on the box than the pizza. Capone's is not good food, poor ser...

Great delivery service. Fast.
Great food and cocktails. Sometimes the service is a little off, but the food is always on. I have never been disapointed there.
I have enjoyed this establishment every time I have visited (which is SEVERAL). Unfortunately the owner of the restaurant has been Bartending the past couple times we have gone in and she is very unpleasant. Our drinks were empty for over fifteen minutes both times and not once did she try to make c...
Great food, Great Beer - this place rocks!! Great place for a date! Nice atmosphere, classy place - cool people. Enjoy everyone!
Lovely pleasant atmosphere - great menu!
Lovely restaurant - great beer (root beer too!). I ordered the Margarita pizza with garden salad, and my partner ordered the Salmon sandwich. The salmon was a little burnt tasting, but my pizza was great. One of the nicer places to eat in Anchorage.
I had 2 of the most impressive meals here. I was dining alone on business and liked the NY steak & service so much for dinner that I returned for lunch the next day to an even better peppered salmon entree. Plus, the wait staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive.
In Golden Pond all of the entrees on bar looked like they had been sitting there all day. The green beans were caked up in old sauce and sesame seeds and wilted looking. The entrees with beef and chicken stock all had a skin over them and the vegetable and meat looked old, over cooked, and unapp...
After taking the trouble to order ahead by phone, I arrived to learn my order had not even been prepared! Instead, the owner tried to get me to get a take-out order from the puny buffet! (The old "bait & switch) He offered no explanation as to why my order had not been prepared, nor why I had not be...
THE best chinese/thai restaurant in Anchorage. Nicest owner, Mr. Yang. Wonderful family man. Best thing is, food is EXCELLENT!! Try the Cheese Chicken, yummmmm!! Fresh green beans sauteed in fish sauce are great as well as the mongolian beef and the kung pao chicken! Best time to go is lunch...

(tried for lunch) Located at the corner of Fireweed & C street, this place has an terrific outdoor dining area shielded from the street by a high fence - definately a place to go on a nice day. Many of the dishes, particularly the mousaka, appeared to have been pre-prepared in large batches and he...
Great food at a reasonable price. Portions are very generous. Service and atmosphere very good also.
We'd been to Gwennies before and had a decent breakfast, so we decided to try their dinner menu on August 16, 2007. Big mistake. We'll never go back to Gwennies again, and we don't recommend that anyone eat there. My husband and I both ordered the baked halibut dinner special. Before eating at Gw...
Other then portion size I was not impressed. My omlette and grits where tasteless to say the least. Just a big pile of mush. The oj tasted weird as well. I was really let down overall. The hostess was really nice thou! Too bad had heard good things about this place. Wasn't crowded when I went in at ...
Gwennies is a local favorite as well as a gathering of "walking tourists" from the finest hotels nearby. They come to feast on hearty, family-style meals: They come to view the '64 earthquake memorabilia hung throughout. Last year the public voted Gwennies the #1 place to go for a Bloody Mary. The r...
