I love this chain and the MKE airport location is great.
It's a wonderful place to go with friends and hang out by the charcoal pit chatting and enjoying a beer while your steak cooks! I like being able to pick my steak from a variety of cuts. All are large enogh to fill a platter and there is a flat price regardless of cut.
Here some of the average steak sizes.
T-Bone 22-23 oz.
Rib Eye (Delmonico)16-17 oz.
Kansas City Strip 18-19 oz.

I travel alot and always look forward to Milwaukee
overnights and the Prime Quarter.

I always look for good restaurants when I travel, but often fail. This time I hit the jackpot! The Packing House is great in all respects. I had an exceptional steak, top-shelf drinks, and great service. A 4-Star experience at 2.5-Star prices! T ...

BEEN GOING THERE FOR YEARS BUT IT SEEMS LIKE THE FOOD PORTIONS HAVE SHRUNK CONSIDERABLY. GREAT ENTERTAINMENT BUT IT SEEMS LIKE THEY RAISED THE MENU PRICES AND GIVE YOU SMALLER PORTIONS TO COMPENSATE FOR PAYING FOR THE ENTERTAINMENT WHICH IS NOT FAIR ...

Classic menu and atmosphere (lost in the 70's). We've been there 100 times and hope to live long enough to go another 100 times.

I first went to Butch's about 14 years ago and still go to this day. I absolutely love the food and the cozy ambience this place provides. It might not be the most classy or up-to-date place but the service is outstanding and the steaks are great! ...

I was at this location last night with 13 other people - we had reservations. I was very dissapointed in the small choices of the menu, and after seeing the prices I expected a good steak. Not only was I disapointed but at lest 12 others were as well. I actually used the steak sause, and I've never had to do that to improve a steak at a resurant. I was very happy for the salad bar, as the two people who ordered - just the salad bar, were the only happy people at the table. It took for ever to get the food, and the four people who grilled there own were done with there meal long done befor the rest of us even received ours. Steaks were very fatty and tough.
