Milwaukee Restaurant Guide

My dining experience was wonderful. I had the spunkiest and nicest redheaded server. She struck up conversations and was very easy to talk to. She was very very fast. There was a mishap that happened in the kitchen and she handled it very very well. It seems as though she could be making a lot more money working elsewhere, as I'm sure she doesn't make a ton of money at Perkins. She's the reason we will be coming back.

The Perkins on Port Washington in Glendale (53217) is the best damn restaurant I have ever been to! I have NEVER experienced such great service in all my years of living. I would go there and bring all my family with me. Besides, those cooks are amazing.
And really hot!!!

Those servers are also quite hot ;)

My experience at Perkins Restaurant was less that satisfactory. I took my grandauhgter there for dinner and I was very disappointed. First of all thre was no one there to seat us. We were left sitting for several minutes without anyone even acknowledging that we were there. After sitting for several minutes a waiter came ove to say that he would get our order and never did , instead he sent someone else. He took the order and the waiting begain once again. Food was brought later and set on our tables, but we had no silverware to eat with.

I have, on occasion, had meals at thje Perkins Restaurant on Port Washington Road in Milwaukee(Glendale), and I have found the experience to be quite satisfactory, very good, in most cases. The ambience fairly shouts " come in, sit down, eat, eat!!" I found the waitstaff helpful and politely friendly, the food top notch and the accomodations good; even my two year old grandson, who actively flirts with the waitstaff, found things to his liking.

I took my mother for dinner to the Perkins restaurant in Milwaukee,WI on Port Washington Rd. I ordered off the new seafood menu, as did my mother. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!!!

First, it took us 15 minutes to get the waitress's attention once we were seated to get silverware. We had spilled some of the lukewarm coffee and didn't have anything with which to wipe it up.

Next, the dinners did not come with any soup/sald, which was ok, I suppose. I had a combination plate, which had fish, shrimp, clam strips, and onion rings on a 'bed' of French fries. A bed of French fries is 4 of them?? That's funny.

The fish was tough; the rest of the food just lukewarm. Needless to say, we will NOT visit your restaurants again. No customer should have to beg for silverware, and the food/drinks they receive should not barely be warm enough to eat. Even though the place was filling with people, your service people were scarce.

Not a good impression at all!
