My doctor is nearby so I hit this place about once a month. Old fashioned, hole in wall, 50's era type of dinner. Staff is friendly and usually good. Sweet and plain ice tea (along with soda). Mostly booth seating, a few tables and you can also eat at the counter. Good burger, breakfasts, chicken finger dinners and chicken fried steaks. Much to my dismay, they have changed now to hand breaded chicken fried steaks. (I liked the frozen double tenderized variety). Sides are always awesome old fashioned southern type. Excellent Rolls and cornbread are served with margarine (I would prefer butter...even if I had to pay extra). The only three desserts I've had are the peach& blackberry cobbler, and the coconut meringue pie. All three were excellent, but I truly relish the coconut pie as it is homemade and has coconut flakes throughout the custard base. Prices are reasonable for what you get. $6-7 bucks for dinner. For a good value, grab a eating buddy and order the double chicken fried steak (two meat patties) to split. Get an extra side if you're big eaters or opt for a dessert. I doubt you'll leave hungry.
