We've been there about a dozen times as of this review. Moving from Montrose & The Galleria (Houston), Porter has little to offer in the way of a dining comparison - no surprise. However, Nicole's was a wonderful find for us. George and his staff are attentive, kind, and genuinly good folks.
The restaurant is an old house and dining is divided into several large rooms. The ambiance is just fine...it's not a 5-star restaurant and doesn't pretend to be. The food however competes with many other "nicer" places. Our guests have always been impressed with the food.
We also used Nicole's to cater our wedding. 100 guests - absolutely great service. I would recommend this place to anyone for in-person dining or catering.

Nicoles's offers a good selection of homemade Italian food. Our family goes to Nicole's regularly, the food is excellent and the service, customer care is great.
Nicole's offers catering services and we used Nicole's for my son's wedding. We had over 220 people and the service was excellent..
