It's pretty good for a neighborhood place. Their salmon is wonderful. the lobster, if not too burnt, is good. The windows overlooking the water are filthy dirty, though. Clean the windows - this is a restaurant for goodness sake.

I have visited Country Kitchen on many occasions and have never been disappointed... the fried chicken is out of this world..I can truly say this one of the only true examples of down home cooking left in NYC...and you can also enjoy a great Karaeoke ...

Therre's no other Soul Food Restaurant that really speaks to the palate as Country Kitchen. The food is truly a combination of southern cuisine and the essence of Soul. I've eaten at "Sylvia's", Amy Ruth but I keep coming back to Country Kitchen
