Way too Loud, way too many service people all over the place and all over the table. We have a very difficult time having a conversation because of the openness the room the loundness and the service people. When you go and fine for fine dining you should have some peace and quite. The food was wonderful!

Very disappointing! Overdone tacky decor and too many staff coming to the table asking how our meal is. We have we dined there before. Our waitress was very intrusive, constantly around the table and she started clearing the table, putting food in to go boxes while I was still eating. I had to ask her to wait until I had finished before clearing the table - her response was "oh, just take your time". I had to point out to her again that I was still eating before she would leave. They are obviously very proud of their restaurant but if I am dining with friends, I don't need to know that. The food was average and the dessert was a complete non-event - a scoop of ice cream in a goblet with a drizzle of a flavorless sauce. I expected better!

We went to Three Forks as guest's of Bill Mason and had the Chateaubriand. It was by far the best that I have ever had. I will visit every time I am in Dallas. I have to say it was my best dining experience ever. period.

I've been to Three Forks multiple times and will continue to frequent this establishment on special occasions. It's a bit pricey for casual dining out excursions but there is no better place in the Metroplex for anniversaries, etc. The house dressing is fabulous, food is tremendous and the ambience and service are exemplary. Everyone needs to try this place at least once.

As a Yankee visiting Dallas, and one who does not eat beef to boot - I still sing praises to Three Forks! Service was superior, and the scallops were as good or better than any I have ever had at Legal Seafood in Boston! I felt as if I had been invited into a lovely southern home for dinner. Dinner was expensive, however, we ordered everything off the menu including a lovely bottle of wine, and I walked out of there feeling like a million dollars! It will be difficult not to make this one of my regular stops in Dallas. Oh, save room for dessert (but, I've had better cheesecake....).

Went their with family and friends for my 50th Birthday.. ABSOLUTELY fantastic dining experience. The food was fabulous and the service was even better. We had about 20 folks for dinner and EVERONE was delighted with their salads (try the house salad with III forks dressing!, enteree's of choice, and deserts. I found it remarkable that the wait staff was there when needed without being obtrusive. I'd go back in a heartbeat. Note: The price per value is better than a couple of other "high end" steakhouses I've visited in the past.

This is one of my favorite steak places in a city full of great steak places... Comparing the steak at Three forks to one at Saltgrass is like comaparing a pizza from Geno's East in Chicago to Papa John's... The Porterhouse is great, although with a bottle of wine, two entrees, tax and tip will cost a party of two around $100 - $150. Worth it if you like steak.

Went back for the 6th time to this restaurant. Service, attentiveness, pace of meal courses and quality of food was superb as it was for prior 5 times. A hallmark establishment for the city of Dallas.

We were very dissapointed with the service. We were not informed that gravy for the mashed potato will be served separately. We were served gravy almost at the end of the meal. Steaks weren't cooked as requested. My guest ordered a med-well but his steak was served med-rare. Food was mediocre considering price. I would not take go back again!!

I have to say that I heard nothing but great things about Three Forks and my girlfriend and I couldn’t wait to try it. We went on Valentine's Day and had the worst experience. We ordered the sweetheart deal and our food was cold and we had to send it back twice. When we got it back it was still warm (not hot) and we decided to take it home instead. It was obvious that these meals were pre-prepared. We never had a visit from the Manager to our table and the service was very slow. We also had to wait 45 minutes to get our car from valet. When I alerted the Manager the following day, I had very poor correspondence from him and he refused to refund my money even though I told him that my girlfriend and I were unable to dine in the restaurant. Needless to say, I will never dine there again nor refer any of my friends.

I think I was expecting much more than my wife and I got there. The service was below standards and from the beginning I was disappointed. The food was below average and I could have had a better steak at saltgrass. I think for what I paid for dinner I should have recieved a meal and service that was unforgettable but I left wishing I could have gotten my money back. I will never go back to three forks nor will I recommend it to any friends or family.

By far the best restaurant I have ever dined in. The food was spectacular, and the service was great. The waitress was very courteous and very knowledgeable of the food served there. It will be very hard to ever eat at another steakhouse again. This is simply the best

The food was great. But I was unimpressed with the service. Maybe my expectations were too high though. The server kept talking about how they do "continuous service" and at first was real proud of it, but later blamed the fact they have "continuous service" for why it took 30 minutes for our salads to come out. What is "continuous service?" The same waitress all night? Doesn't Bennigan's do that? Overall it's great - just don't expect the service to match the food or atmosphere...

I had one of my most enjoyable meals ever at Three Forks. The steak was fantastic and the service was wonderful. I plan on going back whenever I'm in Dallas. Not a cheap place, but you get your monies worth.
