I was surprised to find the only review of this restaurant was so bad--- I've been there twice and am online, searching for it (because I couldn't remember the name) so I could meet friends there!

I have never been to Puerto Rico--- so maybe they're right--- it may well not be authentic, but it was yummy!

I can't remember what they're called, but they had several one-dish rice meals, which were really good. I shared one of them (along with some sort of avocado salad and soup/stew) for a good and reasonably priced meal.

We were really comfortable in a roomy booth and service was all it needed to be--- we wanted to sit and talk, not be constantly interrupted by a waiter.

Atmosphere was nice--- but the place was pretty empty for a Friday night... (But so was every other restaurant in the neighborhood!)...maybe due to the other review!

Too bad; but I'll be back!

Service is really bad and the food is not even made by Puerto Ricans. Their food is not even close to Puerto Rican ..By cutting corners the service is lousy and the food is not fresh .
