Being a true Floridian, I am somewhat of an expert when it comes to fried foods and seafood. Chet's has THE BEST fried mullet I've ever had. It's a fish that is normally smoked like mackeral, but Chet's not only fries the mullet well, everything is fried to perfection. Not too healthy, but down-home, good eatin'!

the fish i was served was not cooked properly(soggy)and the portions seemed small, and expensive for what i recieved.the hostess seemed angry when i mentioned the above
I live about 60 miles from here and try to make it over at least once a month. Been eating there for over ten years and never had one piece of fish that tatsted the least bit off. The best fried mullet I have ever eaten, and several friends that I have taken there say the same thing.

service was wonderful. very family friendly. food was excellent. hot and fast.
The best fried mullet. Just the right crispiness, not too greasy, and just the right spice.
