On Sat. evening, Oct. 15 my wife and I ate at Applebees. We dine out quite frequently in Gillette and enjoy the food and atmosphere of Applebee's. On that day I accidently left my billfold, with cash in it on the table as we left. On Sun. we called when I realized what had happened, to see if it had been found and were told it was not turned in. The day and night managers seemed quite complacent about what had happened when I made contact with them. Their is no doubt in my mind that the billfold was bussed from the table and about $250 in cash was taken from the wallet and it was then found in the back of the Applebee's Restaurant and returned to me on Monday morning. I made contact with the local police department who are now in the process of investigating the theft. No credit cards or other material was taken, only the cash. I am convinced that someone within the Applebee's staff rifled the cash and dumped the wallet. Applebee's will certainly be excluded from our dining experience in the future.

the staff at applebee's is always friendly, that day I believe our waiter was a gentleman by the name of Ben. Everything came out the way we ordered it and it came out fast :). The building itself seemed a bit ragged, part of the roof had fallen in by the bar and was leaking in other places parts, aside from that our experiance was excellent
