My only experience ordering from Charlie's Pizza and Cafe in Allston, MA - The music was too loud and the guy on the phone couldn't hear me enough to get my order straight. I told him not to worry, that I would come in and check out the menu in person. When I arrived, the man with the slicked-back greasy hair was very impatient while I was browsing the menu. I ordered at about 11:55 AM on a Friday night. Plenty of time before the 2 AM closing time. I received my food (a cheeseburger and fries) no earlier than 1:20 AM - Well after the five or six people who came in after me had ordered, received, eaten their food and left. Upon finally getting my cold burger and colder fries, I sat down at a vacant table and began eating my rubbery food. Within 30 seconds, the same man, with hair freshly re-slicked, told me that I had to leave. I asked him if they close at 2 AM. He said they did close at 2 AM, but everything was to go after 1 AM. So, I left and ate my food outside on the sidewalk in the freezing rain, which was almost cold enough to make my food warm again.
