I love the diverse food and the atmoshpere is awesome!! The service is never very good but the food makes up for it!!

I've never written a review before but I was so infuriated with the service I received that I had to share it with others. It's too bad that in today's society people are not treated with respect. We had a very bad experience at Buzzard Billy's. Our table was seated right away - no waiting. But, then, the waiting began. We ordered our food which consisted of lunch sandwiches. After a 45 minutes wait, we asked to talk to the manager, but were told that she was too busy to talk to us. Horrible Serivce. When we sat down the restaurant was not very busy, but became busier as we say there. However, we had been seated before a lot of people, but they received their food before we did. Several tables around us had ordered, received their food, eaten and left by the time our food arrived. Finally we ate and again asked to speak to the manager. The hostess walked over and announced she was the manager (don't think so!) and she REFUSED to apologize as this is how that restaurant is run...they do NOT put your tickets in order, she said "we throw them up there, not in any order" and our food was last. Finally she agreed to a discount and said she would return. Another 20 more minutes later she came back and had only adjusted adjust 50-80 cents off each bill. The waitress then came by and told us that she didnt understand the issue and she had a hissy fit about us complaining. The food was good, but most people dont have time to take 2 hour lunches.

Service was horrible. We were seated quickly then our server took forever to get to our table and only came back two or three times.
We ordered our lunch and it took an hour to get it. During which time other guests were seated and had eaten and where gone before our food even got to our table.
We had to ask twice to speak to the manager and when she finally came over was rude and didnt really care about what we were telling her. She didnt appoligize only told us we were there when it was very busy....(when we got there it was not busy and we sat there through the entire lunch rush without our food.) Not sure how they were so busy they couldnt get our food to us before the people that got there way after us.
Server didnt appoligize either...only got mad at us for suggesting that the next time if she would maybe appoligize for the wait instead of making excuses that it would have made a huge difference....she didnt want to hear that she just got mad.

From the moment you step into the restaurant you will encounter an odd musty smell...once you get past that then the drinks are good and the food okay. BUT expect to wait a VERY VERY long time for your food. My table waited over 1 hour (during lunch) for food. When we asked to speak to a manger we were told she was to busy. Finally after eating 1.5 hours after we got there, we still had not heard from the manager and again asked to speak to her. The hostess came over and said she was the manager, DID NOT APOLOGIZE, but made excuses that they just "throw up the tickets" no order, so ours was just last. Continued to make excuses and then took 50cents off the bil...what an insult. It then took 20 minutes to save 50cents and we were out the door. I will NEVER go back here again as it was smelly and terrible service.
