I'm not from the area, but know good sushi and authentic Japanese. This is grocery store grade at best. I've also never known fried rice to have corn in, or no choice for plain steamed rice. The menu is very plain, and not authentic. Our server was pleasant but we were not brought another glass of w...
My husband and I stopped in to this restaurant and eight years later this is the only Japanese Restaurant that we go to. Always the absolute best in every category.

On suggestion of a friend, I took relatives visiting from Myrtle Beach a couple of years ago. Now, we always treat friends and ourselves to KiHa of Japan. The food is both excellent and reasonably priced! For those wanting sushi--well I'm told by them that it is better than what is available in Myrt...
I frequent Arigato with my boyfriend and we are never dissatisfied! The wait staff is always nice and never let your glass get half empty. Add to that experienced chefs and AWESOME food and Arigato always results in an awesome dining experience! I'm from Raleigh and I grew up eating at Kanki a...
My family, my friends, and myself are all fans of Arigato! We haven't been to the one in Winston Salem, but we frequent the Greensboro location often! The food is always delicious, and I have no complaints about the portion sizes. The pricing on the meals feels appropriate for the quality and q...

I love this place. The food is great. The service very good. The lunch specials they have are a really good deal. Also they give you a very generous portion of food. Sorry to the other good Thai restaurants in town, but this beats them all.
Best food in Greensboro! I highly recommend it!! Great service, food is fast and delicious!!
Wonderful dining experience. We went on a week night with a family of 4. The ambiance is amazing. No other Japanese steakhouse has live music! Food was excellent as well as the service. Both chef and server were very attentive to both of my children. I would highly recommend giving Kabuto a tr...

This was so good i was surprised. No, they don't cook at the table like some of the Japanese restaurants in the area, but the food quality was so good. The atmosphere was otherwise very nice, and I plan to go back very soon.
We made reservations 2 days ahead of time. When we got there they said we didn't have a reservation. We had to wait 30 min. to get a table. It would have been longer if we had not pursued the issue. It looked as though quite a few people had messed up reservations. The food was okay. They gave us fr...
Akashi is THE best sushi place in Greensboro. It's family owned and operated. It is some of the most authentic Japanese cuisine I have had anywhere in the piedmont. If you are looking for TRUE Japanese food, I recommend Akashi.
At first impressions this Japanese steakhouse looked to be off to a good start. There was a long wait and the place was packed. We waited for about 30 minutes moving about the bar tables and outdoor benches. Our turn was up and we were seated at one of those Hibachi tables. Our waiter was very...
Quality and quantity of food is superb. I hope that Arigato will continue this trend as more businesses begin to cut back on both!
