If this was an award winning southern food, they must have given themselves the award. Simply put, the food was disgusting. Our waitress was wonderful. It seemed as though the food was made the week before, and left sitting around. Chicken was so cold I could not eat it. Coleslaw was so old we ...

My husband and I enjoy going to the farmers market on the weekends and usually stop to have breakfast at the Moose Cafe first. Although the breakfast is usually very good, I changed my mind this weekend - the bathrooms are NASTY! It is a wonder that the health department has not shut the place dow...

I had been an infrequent patron of the farmer's market and had always wondered about the Moose Cafe until one afternoon when we decided to try it out. I am so glad we did! The Buttermilk Chicken is my favorite...so tender and full of Southern flavor! Sweet iced tea in mason jars?! Loving it! The foo...
Have you had Tomatoe and Cheese Pie lately? Well Coliseum serves it regularly. Its excellant!
The best pancakes in the world. And fantastic country food; and all at a sm. cost to your wallet or purse. The pancakes have tiny bubble holes in them and taste like cotton candy. The best time to get there is 7:15 am for cakes; and after 2pm for the country style food.
I've eaten at this restaurant many times. It is in a league of its own when it comes to country/southern cooking. Nothing in Greensboro or the surrounding area compares. Portion servings are large, the daily menus are varied, and the service is a cut above. I highly recommend it.

This restaurant gives a great dining experience for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The food is great, the staff is very professional and friendly, The atmosphere is very calming and the prices are very reasonable. You have to try the "HOT FUDGE CAKE" it is to die for. Very enjoyable experience

One of the best values for the money in the area. We often go on Friday nights including last one. I took my wife, daughter and a friend with their children and everyone enjoyed it. I had shrimp and fish. The shrimp were very good, and while the first fish I had was overcooked, when I mentioned it, ...

My wife & I went there to eat on Sat meal was good. We had a card from Moose Cafe that states I'm a Loyal Local so I get 20% off each time I eat. Well forget that when I went to pay gave them card and they said it didn't qualify for what we got. So I said ok paid bill and went on, so on the way home...

Breakfast on 7/31/2009 I ordered a simple sausage/egg biscuit & coffee. Biscuits were not fresh ... dried out like they had been under a heat lamp a long time. The eggs were overcooked, and the sausage was chewy and a poor quality. A single thin slice of tomato was served that included the core! I ...

Our family of four (two teenage boys) decided to give it a try last Friday night and found they had all-you-can-eat flounder and shrimp when we got there. First we got hot biscuits and apple butter which were great, and then we all enjoyed the flounder and shrimp. Everything was ncluded in the $8....

This place is as good as Lexington Style BBQ gets, which is excellent. Clean place, no frills, just great food. Besides the Q, the sauce, hushpuppies, and baked beans (with green pepper cooked in them) stand out. They have both BBQ slaw and coleslaw. I have not tried the breakfast, but hear only...

This was the worse meal I've ever had when dining out. I had the all you can eat shrimp & flounder and it was soooo salty I couldn't even eat it. The tarter sauce tasted like mayo. I had creamed potatoes and they were instant and not good at all. We had a party of 6 and no one liked their meal. ...

I'm addicted to the Moose Cafe. Greensboro should have a MA(Moose Anonymous) program. I eat lunch there at least twice a week. Best lunch specials in the triad. Were else can you buy a huge meal with biscuits, cornbread and a drink for under seven dollars.

I love the Moose Cafe. We come for lunch at least once a week because we work right down the road! There are so few places to eat that really get home cooked food done right. I LOVE THE BUTTERMILK FRIED CHICKEN!!
Excellent homecooked meals, friendly atmosphere, pleanty of food for the price. Have eaten here several times and the owner has some really good lunch specials like soup and sandwich combos, meat and vegetabel plates, and try the bread pudding!!!

This place is great. My family and I love having dinner at the Moose Cafe. The food tastes just like my grandma's cooking. The biscuits and applebutter are to die for. I also enjoy the money I save by the e-coupons they send out.
