My husband and I enjoyed our appetizers, New England Chowder (in a bread bowl) and Lobster Flourentine Soup--both were simply fabulous and bursting with flavor! For our entrees, we had the Boothbay Seafood Penne and the foot-long Lobster Roll; both were tasty as well. The Boothbay dish had plenty of seafood, and it was not as "heavy" as some other cream-based dishes. As for the Lobster Roll, I've never tasted one before, so I cannot honestly tell you if it is better (or worse) than most. As compared to the appetizers, both entrees were slightly less tasty, but it could be because the soups were just so very flavorful. For dessert I had espresso and Key Lime pie, also new to me. The pie had a light, mellow flavor and it was good enough to finish, despite feeling more than sated. Also, the servers were friendly and attentive. My husband and I enjoyed our meal very much and we recommend that you give Allie's a try.
