1 star is too high for this place. My husband and I read the review in the Baltimore Sun and fell for it, hook, line, and sinker. This was the worst restaurant we have ever been to.
First, only 4-5 tables actually have the wonderful view. The rest are spread about cafeteria style.
Second, we spent $300 and I am still upset about it. $300 was supposed to get us a 5 course meal. $300 got each of us 1 oyster, 1 piece of deli meat (seriously), 1 serving of something chocolate in a martini glass, 1 lobster ravioli (as in there was only ONE in the bowl), and 1 piece of cake. We also got a $31 bottle of wine that usually sells for $8. We left hungry and had to go find something else to eat.
Third, the waitstaff would seem more appropriate in a diner than a "first class restaurant". Chaos, arguments, dropping dishes, poor wine service.
Finally, the wine list is way overpriced. We drink a lot of wine and are use to spending the usual double mark-up from the liquor store. Watertable took $8-10 bottles and sold them for $31-47. It was just robbery and unconsionable.
I feel taken advantage of. We have been out and have had good dinners and not so good dinners before. Nothing has stuck with me like this, days after eating.
