My husband and I had a $25 gift certificate and decided to enjoy an early dinner on a Saturday night. I don't think we will be returning there again with or without a gift card. The ambience was wonderful with the view of the river and we really enjoyed the salad, bread and glass of wine. The waitstaff was very slow and decided to have a personal conversation 5 feet from our table. We were the only table in the resturant and our waitress check in on us only once, our water glasses remained empty throughout the meal. The main entrees left much to be desired. My husbands steak was obviously previously frozen and was gray in color with no seasoning. My shrimp and pasta was over cooked and swimming in butter with little taste. The icing on the cake was we discovered our credit card was over charged by $10. There are too many other great places to eat in La Crosse, the view isn't worth the over priced poorly prepared food.

We had a wonderful time. The view of the Mississippi was wonderful. The potato crusted walleye was delicious. The staff made our celebration special. Great food and great service.
