This was a Killing Kompany production Dinner Theatre at Mt. Fuji restaurant in Suffern, NY.

This was among the three worst meals I've ever eaten in a restaurant...ever. To call the food served "fine cuisine" is to either be entirely ignorant of the English language, or to be so ironic as to defy the imagination. Two people from our party of six were entirely unable to consume any of their "cuisine" - literally - and ate rolls instead. My steak was flavorless, tough and disgusting and my girlfriend's chicken was dry, over processed and leather-like. The accompanying mystery vegetables were inedible - none of the six of us touched them - and the twice-baked potato, covered with freezer burn, wasn't even up to Swanson TV Dinner standards. Cabernet and Merlot were served right from the refrigerator and were far too cold to taste, unless you like Welch's.

Although the $60 price included a so-called "Dinner Theatre" presentation this was a remarkably, incredibly, disgustingly bad meal. And the "theatre" consisted mainly of one actor bringing selected guests to a mike in an over-lit room, and repeating innuendo about them provided by their friends, cackling at nearby tables.

As for the atmosphere, the lower dining room at Mt. Fuji is shabby and worn, and people showed up in jeans, track suits and T-shirts...so if you're looking for upscale atmosphere, KillingKompany Productions aren't it.

The evening was a...Killer!

Korean noodles? This is the first Korean noodles specialty in NY as far as I know. How good? It's damn good, and also their Mandoo(dumpling) is by far the best I've ever had. Give it a try!
