They used to be a good a place to eat before they moved up the street.
After moving they raised the prices and cut WAY down on the portion size.
The 10 pack of burritos went up a dollar in price and the total weight went down by 1-1/2 pounds!
I ordered a couple of tostados to go with the bean burritos.
When I got them home I could have slid the tostados under the door they were so thin, next to no toppings at all and the burritos weighed less than 6 ounces each!
I made mention of this to a manager once but he could have cared less.
They refuse to give you any condiments at the drive-thru, no sauce, napkins, nothing, they don't even ask if you want any.
I think the managment should be replaced and the employess retrained as how to make burritos and tostados.

Taco Casa is my very favorite place to get bean burritos. I've been eating at the Taco Casa in Saginaw for around 20 years. All of their food is excellent. It reminds me of the old Taco Plaza. There is soooooo much cheese. When you go to other places, Taco Bell for instance (which I don't anymore!), you might get 4 or 5 strands of grated cheese. Bueno will give you a bit more, but Casa gives you a ton. The beans have an awesome taste and the meat is good. I've turned a lot of people onto Taco Casa over the years. I'm so glad they have expanded. Now I can find them in different areas and don't have to drive back to Saginaw for my favorite food. Taco Casa is a winner!!!

I was in town visiting a relative and being from MI we had a restaurant called Mr. Taco that had the best Mexican food. Well they closed down in MI but I found them when I came to TX! Deliciously seasoned meat and the best cheese ever! I will definately visit TX and Taco Casa will be one of my first stops! :-)

If you remember Taco Bell's menu from the '70's Taco Casa has it. Remember the Enchirito?? Taco Casa calls it the Chilada & it's awesome. Right down to the red sauce & black olive slices. They also have ballpark style nachos! You no longer have to go to a game or a movie to enjoy them. Their peppers are usually hot & they'll top them with anything but their great all by themselves.

I've got to agree with the other reviewers - Taco Casa is WONDERFUL!! It reminds me of the old Taco Bell and Taco Bueno - when they originally started years ago. I, too, have turned several friends on to Taco Casa. I'm not a cheese person, and they are so nice about honoring my request for no cheese on anything - some places are not only ugly about it, but I end up with cheese anyway! Not Taco Casa - my order comes out perfectly every time. I could live on their frijoles alone! Can't say enough nice things about them - my husband and I eat there at least 3 times a week!!!

This review is about Taco Casa in general, I have eaten @ the one in Saginaw so I believe I can do this. They are all awesome. I have been eating @ Taco Casa for about 10 yrs now and finally got to eat at the one in Saginaw a couple of years ago. It was great like the first one I ate @ in Weatherford. I have wanted them to move into the metroplex and now they are I have personally eaten at the one in Watugua, Forest Hills, Weatherford and Saginaw. Like the review before me, they blow the large franchises out of the water. I actually am thinking about getting info on Taco Casa and want to open my own. I know of 4 that opened this year alone. Everytime I go to a Taco Casa I always thank the managers for the quality of food you get. The amazing thing to me is the amount of cheese you get on every item. If you love cheese you will love Casa. On Taco's the amount of cheese you get is a minimum of the thickness of your finger. This is no exaggeration either. You should see what you get on Chilada's. Also I am a very picky person when it comes to meat, but Taco Casa's is awesome. You can tell the quality of the meat is 10 x better than Bell's (Comes in a bag in a box and looks like soup, nasty).Like the cheese you will probably get @ least twice as much meat on a Taco as you would anywhere else, NO LIE!!!! I never rave about places, but like I said I love this place. I used to plan meals around going to the one in Weatherford when I would headed west on trips. I would eat there and get burritos to go. My only complaint is the spicy green sauce that is an option on burritos and other items. But overall I have personally turned about 10 friends onto this franchise and I know one friend has converted about 4 of his co-workers. This is one place that will live up to the hype. I apologize if this sounds like an advertisement. In a sense it is from a very satisfied customer of the place. I am not associated with them in anyway as of yet, like I said I would love to own one. I need to get a discount card for eating at them so much. I avg 2-4 tiems a week.

This is a pretty good fast food place to go. It's better than some of the bigger names of mexican fast food places, such as Taco Bell and Taco Bueno. I believe that you get better quality food for your money, and I've never had any trouble with this place. Like all food services, they do have their times when your not completly satisfied with what you recieved, but in my years of service there I've had about 4 of these occasions that i can recall. I do recommend Taco Casa, for your meal-on-the-go trips.
