It's quickly apparent that Syracuse takes art and history seriously. That passion doesn't end when the sun sets. The Civic Morning Musicals, the state's oldest performance group, is a regular here while the CNY Jazz Foundation offers jazz performances across the region. The Interactive Mystery Dinner Theater is just that, and Saturdays are when the Magic Circle Children's Theater holds its performances. Music concerts include the Spirit of Syracuse, an a cappella women's chorus, the Syracuse Children's Chorus, and Syracuse Friends of Chamber Music performances. You can also take in concerts by the Syracuse Opera Company and Syracuse Symphony Orchestra.
