The building is a dive. But this is the kind of place that appeals to me. It's a place where the regulars know each other and have their own "usual" tables. The menu is based around breakfast items, but there are lunch specials listed on the board. The waitresses are friendly, and the onion rings are some of the best around. I haven't tried the breakfast items, but the lunch can be considered "average."

We left in the middle of the meal because the owner was berating a black couple at the next table. Racism is an ugly sight to behold and the food lost all its appeal.

It's not the prettiest place you'll ever see but it's got a great view of the lake. You can boat up to or drive your car there. The service is excellent and fast.
