I have eaten at Sala thai very often. I would highly recommend it to anyone without hesitation. My food has always been fabulous and fresh. The service is always friendly and prompt. I think the bad reviewer is full of S**T. This one of Detroit finest.

I got Thai duck to go. To my surprise there was half a fly in my meal. It was obviously chopped with a knife or cleaver. I couldn't find the other half, but I had already eaten a good portion which probably included the other half of the fly. They were not very receptive to refunds. I haven't been back, and have taken to calling the place, Sala Fly.

I visited this unique Thai eatery first with my Mother (who adores the place) and the servins are well worth the west to east side drive I take. The food is always fresh and the service is on point. This is a must try Thai!

I travel across town for Vicki's.. They have had some of the best barbecue in Detroit for years. The staff is courteous and they don't mind fulfilling special request.
