We have gone on two separate occassions with friends who love this restaurant. The first time they both ordered burritos and they received fajitas. Our food was fine and came out correct. The second time we went back with the same friends, and we all ordered the same food as before. I was told they had no tamales (they were on the menu and I had them before.. how do you run out of something... guess its not that fresh) so I had to order something else. One of our friends ordered a chicken burrito and received a steak burrito. She sent it back for a chicken burrito and another steak burrito without sauce came out. She finally gave up and just ate the steak burrito. I asked for no onions on my steak quesidilla, and there were tons of onions in it, barely any steak and the steak that it had was really tough.

The service was okay. The first time our server was nowhere to be found and we were the only diners in the place. The second time, the server was obviously new so I won't fault him for that. He did the best he could under the circumstances.

The cooks in the back dont speak english, which is great because you are getting authentic mexican food, but bad if you are asking for something special.

I feel bad for the restaurant because the construction on White Pond is affecting the amount of diners.... and obviously the quality of the food.

Good luck.. the place seems to be hit or miss.

I had a fantastic Birthday party in the dining room and enjoyed the fresh food and Margaritas.
The patio has a beautiful pond view...We will be back to enjoy this place all summer long!

We have gone on 3 occasions in attempts to allow them to redeem themselves, but no such luck. The first visit we had a very young girl wait on us and she had no idea what drinks were available or on the menu. She came back to us about 3 times to verify what we had ordered and we still ended up with one incorrect dish. The second time was the best as far as wait staff went, but service was still slow for the lack of customers in the place. On the 3rd attempt we sat in the dining area for 10 minutes and were never acknowledged by anyone so we left. A table near us stated they had been there one hour and not yet received their food. Mind you there were only 4 tables with diners in the place so it was not like the crowd was overwhelming them. The food, once received is very similar to Nuevo Acapulco in North Olmsted which is PACKED every night because they have good service. Too bad Rosarita does not hire some experienced cooks and waitstaff. I agree with the previous reviewer, they talk way too loud in the kitchen and often argue.

Disappointed that they let kids run around the bar and the smokers all over the front of the restaurant. We won't be back!

Visited the cantina with a friend for some music and beer. They have music on weekend nights and between the happy hour beer for a buck and the music we had a good time. But I returned with my boyfriend the next evening for dinner and was very disappointed. I had the grilled shrimp Burrito which had a good flavor but it came out cold. The waitress was busy talking to the rest of the staff who were going back and forth to the bar and talking loudly with the kitchen staff through the hole in the kitchen window. I felt like I was at an arbys and the staff was not understanding that they needed to be taking time from their busy schedule to serve their customers. By the time she came back to the table my boyfriend was done and I had already eaten enough cold food for one night.

Maybe they should just close the restaurant and keep the bar running on dollar beers. I will probably go up to Fairlawn or Wadsworth next time I'm looking for mexican food. But I will go back for the cheap drinks and music.
