When we last visited this restaurant, the service was deplorable. We never did get all our food, and a waiter not assigned to our table had to get our check. The food we got was good, but we practically had to get it from the kitchen ourselves.
We eat here at least once a week. The food is comparable to Willie G's, Jimmy G's etc. The gumbo is outstanding, the seafood is fresh and well prepared. The oysters are incredible all year 'round...and if you really like crawfish...this is the only place...honest!!
You have got to be kidding. This restaurant puts Willie G's to shame! This is the best seafood in town.
The Food is great and the service the best. Ask for Billy he has been there forever. The gumbo rocks, none of that slimmy okra in it. And the martini's are as good as they get.
We had a great experience at this restaurant!! It is delicious and very authentic, which is hard to find even in Texas!

after hearing the story on the news that these people held hostage thier customers for not paying a tip...then called the cops on them....when they were willing to pay for thier meal....this is criminal....people...no one should have to pay for any more than what they are purchasing....which is food...

i can not review this restaurant as i will never eat there. to set a manditory gratuity is uncalled for. if a customer does not feel their service warrants a certain percentage they sould have the opportunity to address the issue with management. remember the customer is ALWAYS right

After reading the artical of you locking in customers for not paying the tip. First let me say 17% for parties of 5 or more is robbery. And second the manager should have listened to them about bad service. I will make sure that I never darken your door step.

Horrible service. Rude waiters.
I never got to try the food. I was refused service because I requested to sit in a booth. I was told since there was only two in my party, I had to sit at a table. The place was only half full. The manager was extremely rude and seemed to have an attitude before we even spoke to her. She inform...
All I can say is..your review on Yahoo...indicates you are sexist,racial profilers,and really just poor white trash...Icould be wrong...but whats on the web...man..I would hate to be you....
Please DO NOT eat at this restaurant!!! Be forewarned- my family & I gathered for an evening of fish and to my shock, the staff was seriously just rude, our orders were incorrect, our drinks were not even refilled and the food was brought smelling like it was a week old Or something...
