Great seafood for the money. The staff was friendly and very polite

Food was EXCELLANT! We had the oysters and the bar b que salmon salad was the best. The place is very clean and the staff is very friendly. They took thier time explaining the menus and we never had to wait for a waiter to get refills.
Whenever we are at the beach, or just finished fishing we always stop at Blackbeards. They have really great food and service. My family loves to sit on the patio and listen to the singers. Sometimes we take our kids "treasure" hunting on the beach and then to eat at a pirate restuarante!
Great food! Restaurant and restrooms very clean. Seems to have great management. All of the employees get along well! Day crew works excellent as a team! Will definitely visit this restaurant again in the future when I am in the area.
The best steaks in Corpus, grilled with mesquite, they are tasty and done to perfection. One of the best restuarantes I've every had the pleasure of dining at.
Other reviewers are right. Best Steaks in Corpus and Fried Shrimp are closest to Ship Ahoy. Green Goddess and Ranch Dressing are delicious. My kids are grown and live elsewhere but when they come to visit we all have to got to the Astor.
I ate at the Astor when I came to Corpus Christi in 1970. It is still the best place to eat in 2011. The best steaks I ever ate , very friendly , and clean.

All ways a great food and very consistens with fresh corn tortillas and good margaritas, service is very frindly and we allways tip them 25%
Tray there guacamole and the very hot sauce, order the t-bone or sirloin with an enchilada,
they have great mexican taquitos for appetaizer with lengua, carn...
It was good place to stop by for dinner. Especially, dinner meal, they provided steak which is including in buffet (best steak among chinese buffets restaurant). Good to go... Hope y'all enjoy.
Every time my family is in Corpus windsurfing we visit Mao-Tai. It's the best.

The food was really great and the staff was super friendly.
Came in with my nieces and ordered the Chunky Monkey and the kids sliders. They loved it and they are pretty hard to please. We will definitely be frequenting this place, the atmosphere is chill and the food is great.
I am not from Corpus Christi - but I make sure to go to the Ancient Mariner every time I visit. The food is to die for, and the service is fantastic. I would suggest it to anyone who has a taste for outstanding seafood.

The food at the Sultan is exquisite and the portions huge! We had an amazing experience all around. The chef, Cole, came out to our table to greet us and our server Patrick was without peer. We recommend the Sultan and will be eating there on a regular basis
The best steaks and grilled or fried shrimp in Corpus. Does anyone remember the Ship Ahoy? The Astors fried shrimp are just like they used to make. Also the Greek green godess salad dressing is really good.
