I am not one of the complainers, who sends food back on a regular basis. I made reservations for a table of six. Our server was eager to do a great job, but not very experienced there. The atmosphere is a little lacking, mostly painted concrete blocks. The food probably would have been good, but it showed up cold. Most of the entrees were under $12.

I am not from Corpus Christi - but I make sure to go to the Ancient Mariner every time I visit. The food is to die for, and the service is fantastic. I would suggest it to anyone who has a taste for outstanding seafood.

Food was EXCELLANT! We had the oysters and the bar b que salmon salad was the best. The place is very clean and the staff is very friendly. They took thier time explaining the menus and we never had to wait for a waiter to get refills.
