The establishment is filthy. The quality of their food is very poor and old. We got delivery more than once and you can't eat it on the second day because it goes rancid real quick. Not typical of Chinese since leftovers usually always taste better on the second day. The order takers on the phon...
Pretty dirty. The word "unsanitary" kept coming to mind. Staff was nice enough. Some of the food was cold. No labels on much of the food to tell what it was you were eating.
The Sultan is definately a different taste than what South Texan's are used to, but that is not really a bad thing. The Sultan offers a tasty alternative to the regular "run of the mill" fried seafood shack. You do have to be carefull about what you order though. Make sure you have researched your M...
The food is always amazing everytime we go there.

The best steaks and grilled or fried shrimp in Corpus. Does anyone remember the Ship Ahoy? The Astors fried shrimp are just like they used to make. Also the Greek green godess salad dressing is really good.
Great food! Restaurant and restrooms very clean. Seems to have great management. All of the employees get along well! Day crew works excellent as a team! Will definitely visit this restaurant again in the future when I am in the area.
While vacationing in Corpus, we had been told (and read glowing reviews on other web sites) of the greatness of this place. Boy, were we disappointed! If you are looking for true MEXICAN seafood dishes, keep looking. If you are looking for bland dishes with little spiciness, you'll be happy (to me, ...
Whenever we are at the beach, or just finished fishing we always stop at Blackbeards. They have really great food and service. My family loves to sit on the patio and listen to the singers. Sometimes we take our kids "treasure" hunting on the beach and then to eat at a pirate restuarante!

The best steaks in Corpus, grilled with mesquite, they are tasty and done to perfection. One of the best restuarantes I've every had the pleasure of dining at.
We ordered take out, and it was delicious. The best Chinese food I've had in awhile. We plan on eating there many times in the future.
I am not one of the complainers, who sends food back on a regular basis. I made reservations for a table of six. Our server was eager to do a great job, but not very experienced there. The atmosphere is a little lacking, mostly painted concrete blocks. The food probably would have been good, but...
Great seafood for the money. The staff was friendly and very polite
I am not from Corpus Christi - but I make sure to go to the Ancient Mariner every time I visit. The food is to die for, and the service is fantastic. I would suggest it to anyone who has a taste for outstanding seafood.

New To Corpus Christi and thought this was supposed to be a good Chinese restaurant. Not as authentic as I thought it would be. Fried rice is nothing but white rice and green peas.Carrots are added to the egg drop soup, which doesnt enhance the soup at all. Staff was rude on the phone and I could no...

The food is wonderful I think, But the staff is very rude, I've been over 10 times and they always have been rude. I just completely stopped going after the last time.

Though that the food is below average, but I will never eat here again. Cashier and waitress was very rude. They were both not helpful and we did not feel welcome. We complain to management, but she had problem speaking english. So we just all left.

I have eaten here a number of times. Oriental Food wise I think Hunan is one of the best in Corpus Christi. The establishment is a bit unclean but the food and service gets a B-.
Every time my family is in Corpus windsurfing we visit Mao-Tai. It's the best.
