I grew up in Columbia and discovered El Menchaca back in 1977 when working just down the street from them. I continued to eat there until they closed. My wife and I had eaten there hundreds of times over the years and truly miss the authentic Mexican food. I have searched tirelessly and have not bee...
A favorite of ours for years and years. Great food always! When someone new comes to town, we always go there first.
Love the food. The price of drinks is through the roof!
Thai Lotus has had a recent overhaul with their service, and it is EXCELLENT! My family and I have been dining at Thai Lotus for 12 years. The past couple of years their service had become slow, but their wonderful food was worth the wait. Now, with the changes they have made, the food arrives quick...
Empty for a good reason. The food was seasoned only with [too much] salt and the server could not have cared less that it was poorly made. There was no one at the desk on the way out to mention the problems to.
The food here is very good. I had the regular chicken wings and waffle (red velvet) and was delightfully surprised at how good this meal was. I will definitely visit this restaurant again.
I've been having take-out at Chen's for years and my visit today was for the "usual". I wasn't super hungry, so I know my review isn't because of that, but the food was so incredibly good that I had to pick up the phone (before I even finished my food) and call back just to compliment them. Their fo...
I have eaten Sushi all over SC and Inakaya's rates as the best by far. Ryo and Louis are a blast behind the counter and will drink saki or beer with you as you dine. Key items: Look for the daily specials on the board behind them (often they have items you just cannot get at other Columbia area Sush...
THE BEST SUSHI EVER! NOONE ELSE COMES CLOSE TO THE QUALITY OF SUSHI AND SASHIMI SERVED. GREAT OWNERS!
This CiCi's is the absolute best! The pizza is exceptionally good at this location and there is a new guy who started working there...super sexy...who takes your plates away ;) Leave this guy good tips, he is awesome!
I finally tried Saluda's after hearing about how good it is from several friends in my office. I was not disappointed! The ambience was amazing from the start. I loved the tall ceilings, wooden floors and the low lighting. It had a very cosmopolitan feel. The service was good but the food was the r...

Best Chicken and Rice soup anywhere in the Columbia Area. I drive by two other Monterrey Mexican Restaurants to go to this one. Fabulous.
IVE ONLY BEEN THERE ONCE BUT, OMG!!!!!THE FOOD!!THE BEST SOUL FOOD RESTAURANT IVE EVER EATEN AT. THE FOOD DOESNT HAVE THAT "MASS PRODUCED" TASTE AND NOTHING RUNS OUT. YOU HAVE TO TASTE IT TO BELIEVE IT. AT $5.99/LB YOU CANT BEAT IT. I BOUGHT 2 PLATES@$25 AND WOULD DO IT AGAIN IN A MIN!! GREAT JOB BJ...
Just left the Columbiana Super Buffoonary.... I can say by far this was the """WORST""" food I have ever had in my life. THE FOOD was HARD,OVERCOKED & TASTED TERRIBLE. I could not believe that some would try to pass off that awful tasting stuff as food. I am amazed that the doors are still open. ...

Good food and live music
The food is authentic and the best I've had since visiting Germany. The staff makes you feel at home. Very cozy.
This is by far the best resturant in Columbia based on value and atmosphere. This was a former railroad passenger terminal, remarkable restoration, super high ceilings. This is our special occasion place. Better than the Chris Steak House by far.
The food is prepared on the spot and it is the best in Columbia
Wow. What a great dining experience. Had the Salmon and Pasta special and it was world class! Michelle gave us a warm welcome and smile. We had a great night. The Wine list was impressive with a full wine cellar of selections.
Inakaya is our favorite Japanese in Columbia. Everything we have tried has been fantastic!
