Best french fries in York County. Fresh cut fries never tasted better, they also do great Combo meals, that includes one of their great sandwiches, a fresh cut french fry and a 16oz drink, and most are under $6.00 including tax. Best of all they donate 1% of all their sales to Feed The Children to h...
This is the star of Central Market in York, PA. J.R.'s Fresh Cut French Fries has the best food period! They give you great service, great prices, and the best fresh cut french fries and chicken pot pie I have ever eaten.
Wow, this place has it all. Super clean, super friendly and super good food. Great fresh cut french fries, the best pulled pork bbq sandwich I have ever eaten and so much much. If you go to The Central Market in York, PA this is the place to stop for lunch.

my husband and i went to embers one night for dinner and were delighted. my experience there for lunch today was a totally different experience. it took forever for a server to reach my table. i asked for one of their lunch specials a shrimp pasta on linguini. it took a very long time to get it. the...
We have gone to this restaurant several times and it is a delight to go to. The scenery looking out over the golf course and the patio setup is beautiful. They have regular and unusual food and we try something different each time we visit there.
My wife and I went there for our wedding anniversary last week. Although the weather was cold and rainy, preventing us from getting seating on the outdoor deck at sunset, we reserved a window seat. The view is fantastic and so are the facilities. Throughout our meal, we had staff checking on u...

Had my daughter's bridal shower in the upstairs room. We had a great time. Matt was our waiter and did a great job. The homemade sangria was awesome. We had chicken corn soup, egg salad and chicken salad sandwiches, and salad. It was so good. A great time was had by all.

After having steaks at the Embers 5 times, all being excellent, tender, none fatty, we took our family there for Easter dinner Saturday night. Out of the 8 of us, 5 got NY stripe steaks, 4 of which were very tuff and had allot of fat and gristle..what a dissapointment after raving about these steaks...
The ambience was pleasant- my date and I sat on the patio and were treated to a great view of the sunset. The tables on the patio are a little close together- I was very aware of the eating habits of the other diners as well as their conversations. The food was great, when it finally came. We were t...

About six years ago I went to Coombs Tavern for the Prime Rib that I had heard so much about. This would be my first time at Coombs so I ordered the biggest cut of prime rib I could get and I had to agree with what I had heard, it was by far the best prime rib I ever had, so tender you could cut it ...

I had a steak dinner at the Embers today and I was very disappointed. Although the steak was good my mashed potatoes were delivered five minutes after the rest of my food was served and they were cold and soupy. I complained to the waitress who offered to exchange them for a baked potato and said s...

This stands quite possibly as my worst dining experience in York County. We were a party of 4. We ordered seafood exclusively. One member of our party ordered a trio, but cannot eat scallops due to a food allergy. The server told him they would substitute shrimp for the scallops on the trio. When th...

I took my husband to Embers on March 2, 2011 for his birthday. This is the 1st time we were here and most likely the last. Not a good experience. We were the only customers in line, plenty of seating and yet it took a while for them to seat us. Our appetizer was chicken strips, onion rings etc, ...
The chicken tasted like it was prepared hours earlier, not fresh like it use to be here.

I had eaten at Coombs on a few "business" dinners with a former employer, so when my husband and I move into the neighborhood I suggested we go grab a bite to eat. "Their food is always great," I said to my husband. We walked in the door (bar side door), and made our way around to a table. Now my hu...
