Giovanni's Pizza & Pasta located in Downtown Pittsburgh... They do not honor their gift certificates. They will happily sell them to you but if you try to redeem one they WILL NOT HONOR them when you try to use them. The will actually try to sell you another gift certificate that is worth less for...
good restaraunt, wait staff is poor but they dont have enough workers when it gets too busy so its understandable. chefs are very personable and friendly and the food is really good! what more could you want. you may wait awhile, we waited 40 min and we had reservations! but other than the wait and ...

Food has gone downhill. I went a few years ago to watch the Kentucky Derby and had a decent meal. Now, the burgers are flimsy and everything else is below-average. It's not a bad place to have a few beers and watch a game, but it's a sports bar, not a restaurant.

The food is consistently wonderful. Michael and Antoinette never falter in personalized hospitality. Since I live nearby, we have been fortunate to frequent Gran Canal. Michael has taken the time and interest to learn how I enjoy some of my favorite dishes prepared, and has never been offended if I ...

A very pleasant dining experience starting with delicious home-made tomato soup. Swordfish was excellent. Friendly waitstaff. We plan to be repeat customers.
This chinese food is great! Very large portions, and reasonable prices. Excellent Service!
To start, the plates were so filthy my wife had to use a baby wipe to clean them off. One of the glasses even had lip prints on it. We were convinced the dishes weren't washed at all, even though we were the first patrons to dine there that evening. When the waiter took our order he asked how we ...
This restaurant had the best food that I have ever tasted and the sevice was great.
Their chicken shawarma is seriously the best in the world. I've had shawarma in many cities and countries, but none are as good as the ones at Salem's.
It is the perfect place to go when you are new to Pittsburgh or you are hungry. They serve gyros, rice with chicken or meat, kofta, kabab, Fresh meat, chicken anything you want. (EVERYTHING HALAL)

This establishment should not even be considered a restaurant. This is an Adults Only establishment that does not allow They would not even seat my group and would not honor or refund gift certificates that my wife had purchased and we were not allowed to use because my son was with us at 5:30 on a ...

I love coming here, seems like we took the Concord right straight to Italy, love the pasta pescatore, veal scappopine and Michael (looks like Robin Williams) and Anntonette are just like family, we love ending our meal with a Lemocella made by Michael himself, Gracious, Bon Appetite

The food is SOOO good that once having dined there, anticipation for a next visit is everything. The friendly staff and great service is priceless.
TO ANYONE THINKING OF DINING AT JOSE AND TONY'S RESTAURANT...PLEASE, PLEASE, THINK AGAIN..THAT IS, IF YOU DON'T LIKE HAIRS IN YOUR FOOD. I HAD THIS GROSS, DISGUSTING THING HAPPEN TO ME ON 11/4/08. THE VERY FIRST BITE I TOOK, I PULLED OUT NOT 1, BUT 2 HAIRS FROM THEIR MEXICAN DELIGHT ORDER. UGH!!!...
The food has greatly improved over the years, to the point that I eat breakfast and lunch here WAY too often. Renita and Marge, the cashiers, treat the customers like gold (I think Renita knows all the regulars on a first-name basis), and the cooks/servers are pleasant enough. Kevin, the manager, ...
The hot wings are good just a little salty, they have a good crispy consistency. There pizza is a lot better than what the other reviewer said. Their prices are ok. The owner is a nice guy.
I've had lunch and breakfast at this cafeteria. The lunch was a disappointment (dry lasagna), but the breakfast was delicious! This is the only place in this part of town to get a cooked to order breakfast. That will keep me going back because the service is just okay. The chef can be moody---on...
Good food, a bit basic facility.
Food is great, limited seating indoor but they have chairs outside sometimes. Best day to eat is on Friday after Juma Prayer in the summer, because they always grill kofta a chicken. The food is clean but the place smells like raw meat(considering its a butcher shop, that can be overlooked). Employe...
The pizza is bland, but edible. However, this restaurant is in the basement of an apartment building. I lived for one year in an apartment on the 4th floor. There were incessant cockroach problems.
