We went to C'est la vie today. We bought several items and this is what we found: Croissant were NOT laminated properly...dough was tough...tough...tough...and where's the butter??? Pain Au Chocolat was filled with little chocolate morsels of cheap chocolate instead of good quality batons...ag...
Being French, we found the cakes as good as they are in French bakeries. A part of France in New Hope with this strange feeling as if we were traveling in France when entering this friendly bakery. With these good "viennoiseries", a quick service and a lovely view on the Delaware river, it was a goo...
My husband and I stopped in yesterday for just a cup of coffee- until we saw the beautiful pastries in the display which tempted us to try some..I swear I thought I was back in Paris!! We both had a wonderful brioche; mine was plain, and my husband choose one filled with cheese. Yes, the cheese fill...

Was just in there today, the overweight woman serving was unhappy to take a gift certificate. She then says it doesn't cover the cost. I work in wholesaling, we had 2 pizzas and 2 drinks. Net cost to them 4.75, and not lets not forget the kickback of the certificate to them. Pizza is good, but the s...
Brown lettuce??? Is there no quality control at this place. The food was far from fresh!
This used to be a favorite place of mine, but the food is no longer good and the service worst. I don't think I will be going back anytime soon.
The food was fair although the pizza was pretty good. I couldn't get past the dirty bathroom however. In my opinion, not worth visiting.

Independent minded staff, sandwiches not so great, prices could be more reasonable, and no manager. Just a bunch of young kids making sandwiches, barely.

Not only was the service at this restaurant awful, the food was poor, and wrong. Numerous times during our meal I had wanted to get up to go complain, my children did not want me to make a scene. On top of it all, my debit card was over charged $33, when I checked my bank statement online this morn...
Haven't had a good experience @ frans lately. Seems like the food is being left out too long and nobody cares to clean the bathrooms. Heard many complaints about over charging too. I think the bartender overcharges the 50-somethings in order to give drinks to their friends. CHECK YOUR CHECK befo...
We waited forever for someone to actually come over to us, then when they did our order was wrong and the food was not very good. i used my credit card to charge the bill, my receipt said they charged me $36 but when i got home and looked on my bank account, they charged me $47! This place is a ri...
Just stay away. The food was horrible and the drinks very expensive. Served a Guiness in a plastic cup-a mortal sin. Waitress was clueless but nice. Harry
I was very shocked to see that this place overcharged my credit card. I paid the bill by credit card and tipped the waitress in cash. later that day when I checked the credit card account I found out that I was charged $25 extra which I guess was the added gratuity and that $25 alone would have bee...
this is a dirty hole in the wall over priced tourist trap and there are so many better new hope alternatives
I love this place. They have a really good food, they have full bar, and the service is really good. You have to try this place, Is in New Hope P,A, and the prices are not expensive at all! Its worth it to come here. Just one thing on a busy day you have to be patience but it will be worth it.
dude, the guy who wrote the comment that is posted on the front page is an idiot!! the food at frans pub is outstanding, the service is amazing so if you have something too bad to say about frans you are dumb!!
A great place to relax and have great food at an affordable price!
