I so wanted to like this restaurant--Salem is in need. However, I found the service slow, and the food overpriced and much less exciting than the menu promised. I get the feeling the place is trying to be something it's not.

Probably one of my favorite places to eat. Mac and Cheese to die for!!! Neat and clean! Wonderful staff. A real joy!!
The way this place feels- it's like eating with family, but better. It's comfortable, the food is great, and you can have cake before you eat dinner if you want.
Last Valentine's Day was by far the worst experience I've ever had. We made reservations at 7:30 for six people. Amadeus was packed in their normal seating area - and they had tables crammed into every nook and cranny that was normally nice open space. We STOOD in the waiting area for an hour and...
Food was excellent, however service was horrible and always has been. It took twenty minutes to get a drink order in. HELLO? A waiter brought water after ten minutes but didnt even ask if we needed anything.
We went for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed it! It has been recently redone, and the ambiance is warm and relaxing. There was no rush to get us to pay the bill and scram, and our server was funny and engaging. Like it, love it, I'd do it again!

I love Amadeus! The food is excellent! Very unassuming little place but you can't go wrong if you are looking for something tasty to eat. The hummus is a must-try and the desserts - to die for!
I've eaten at Amadeus several times and have yet to have a bad meal, the menu has variety & the food rich flavors, it's difficult to find a favorite as they're ALL so good!
