best dining outside of nyc
Easily the best place in the area for pizza or simple pasta dishes. Great value and great food. Dining room is small and simple.
Great place to go for lunch. Best pizza I've ever had. The guys who own it are friendly, personable and make you feel at home.
Terrific pizza and very friendly staff. I've never see the two guys not happy while working. Try the salad pizza - it's amazing!
This guys is great. Get the Jo-Jo with the cheese. Big slice for lunch, only gets the one. If you order two you will lose the battle, trusts me. Touch your Naples is best place. You mays get a garlic nuts too. Very seasonably tasted.
i went in here and ordered 6 pizzas for my dauhters birthday party. i went in to pick it up and the guy behind the counter was a complete jerk to me i couldnt beleave it. i paid for my food and was waiting off to the side and the guy said to me "this isnt fast food it takes some time so why dont you...
Absolute Pizza reopened October 2009 at 308 Titusville Rd, Poughkeepsie/ Lagrange. The new phone number is [phone removed]. The place at 704 Freedom Plains Road was sold in 2004 to Ron & Gio, then to Pizza Pete's. Their food never quite measured up to Absolute Pizza. NYS Trooper Wedge's passion ...
Wow, Finally a pizzeria that has it all!! Home town charm, truly delicious food, gourmet pizza slices, quality menu items and impeccable service!!! Absolute is a place to take the family out to eat, order out or get a delivery. We loved our experience, we had chicken wings, garlic knots, jambalaya...
Ah, the Acropolis Diner. Frequented by Vassar students looking for something to eat at 4:00 in the morning. The food is alright, though it's not cheap, but it's open 24 hours. There are better diners in town, but if you want to go somewhere nearby, the Acrop is a good choice.
The food at Amici's is not consistent. If the owner if there, it's good - if he is not there it's cold and horrible. We've eaten there about 6 times and would not return. There are much better restaurants near by.
Amici's is located in Dooley Square at the Pok train station. I work in the building, and have visited the restaurant frequently as both a take-out and dine-in customer. The decor is great - warm russet and gold tones evoke a Tuscan feel. And you certainly get your money's worth when ordering a slic...
The serving size was great, food was delicious, great presentation-a little cold but delicious. Service was a little slow went on lunch break and got back late but anything good is worth waiting for. The ambiance is fantastic and the prices was definitely worth every morsel. I would definitely go ag...
Outstanding food (chef is from the CIA); great service; we really enjoyed ourselves
Outstanding food; experience chef from the Culinary Institute provides a different set of specials each week - we keep going back; haven't been disappointed yet. Nice location down by the river.
We had a great dining experience in our recent visit to the Poughkeepsie area - Amici's Restaurant down near the Hudson River. The food was some of the best that I've had in a long time -- and the prices were very reasonable considering the quality and quantity of food. I'd highly recommend it!
The City of Poughkeepsie has always been very fortunate to have a great selection of good restaurants to eat in. However, the addition of Amici's on Main Street, right next to the renovated train station, has improved the selection 10-fold. Whether you want to share an appetizer or pizza at the ba...
Service was not only slow but lack any care for the customer. Chili is very good but very expensive. One little cup $4.50 that's a lot for chili. My $8.75 slider, chicken, hot dog...let's just say it sucked. All the bread was stale, and I couldn't even cut the chicken will my butter knife.
BoneFish Grill doesn't honor reservations. Don't bother, you will still be given a buzzer regardless. Walk-in after walk-in that didn't have an reservation was seated before us that arrived before we did. Even though it was our scheduled time to be seated. You will have to wait even with a reservati...
Bugaboo is a warm fun inviting place to dine. It is great for eating out with family and friends. It is kids friendly with an entertaining atmosphere. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The menu has a variety of items to choose from.
The place is dirty and the service stinks.
