I love this place!!!!....truly a FAVORITE of mine. If you are looking for a place for a special dinner (in Downtown Manhattan) - THIS IS THE PLACE!!!!
The food is average, however, the service is horrible. They never have white rice and once i ask an attendant why there was no white rice she said, " because they don't pay me to cook rice, so i'm not doing it." The female employees are very rude, so you don't feel welcome and you certainly don't fee...
staff very unfriendly, especially the females. Never say hello and does not respond to you when greeted. Very nasty disposition shown by the staff at E. 23rd street. There is one guy that always friendly and offers good service The food is often times very good, however sometimes the curry goat se...
I am a Jamaican and let me say that this particualr Golden Crust SUCKS!!!!! BIG time! The food there is horrible. The curry goat is always salt and their oxtail is undone. the onlty thing i buy is the mild patty or the banana chips because I like them stale. Customer service sucks and they need to ha...
I ordered a stew chicken lunch one day adn the chicken was not even cooked all the way. The attitudes of a majority of the female employees are very rude and discriminatory. I am Jamaican and I feel that the women treat light skin women very nasty. The patties are mostly crust and the meat is dry. M...
I worked in New Rochelle Westchester NY and the only Golden Krust in that town; I rate their food #2. They only uses Chicken "legs and thie" it taste Horrible. Come on! hole chicken aint that expensive.
I'm a Swedish girl, 22 yrs old. This summer I visited Golden Krust on Flatbush several times. I would recommend the cheezy-beef patty. I love it! I also love my boyfriend who works there and that I met the 1st time I went in to the bakery. Cool, huh?! I could have given the restaurant a higher grade...
I am a Jamaican who recently came to the US. I deeply miss Mother's and Tastee patties. When I visited Golden Crust for the first time, I became hooked. Patties are still my favorite lunch time meal and Golden Crust does a fabulous job. My husband is from the mid-west and he loves the patties.
The food and veggie creativity here is wonderful. They also always have light seafood options making it a good compromise for veggie diners who would like to bring along non-veggie meal companions. I've had a couple of cleanliness issues and waitstaff disappointments, but on the whole, for a satisfy...
This information is a year and a half old but we are going back to New York in a few days and if we go to the Gotham Bar and Grill again, I will update it the review. Let me say first off that we consider ourselves picky and like very good food and unpretentious surroundings. We considered this res...
Menu has great variety. Food is always well-prepared. They are best at fish dishes. Service is friendly and swift; although this may be because I am a big tipper.
This place is famous on the Upper East Side. It was the first restaurant in the neighborhood to be open 24hours. Food is like that of a Greek/American diner; but a cut above. Desserts are wonderful. You can expect the restaurant to become crowded when the area bars close at 4 am.
The view was amazing and the food was good. The waitress was very pleasant and accomodating. You have to go and sit out on the deck; perfect date location.
A tex-mex restaurant run by asians... and well! what a country! the only real problem is that the workers there stare at you and heckle you when you eat.
I gave the cashier a twenty for my take-out lunch, but she insisted that I only gave her a ten and then proceeded to argue with me and say out loud that 'I know you gave me a ten'. I told her I only had two twenties in my wallet because I had just come from the bank. When she still didn't believe ...
Went on a Friday, the place was jammin, the crab cakes were delicious and the strip steak was a real bargin for the size of it, I had the wheat beer which was crisp and tasty and also got and free taster and a visit from the manager asking how everything was
the food is bad. The drink stings. the waiters smells bad
Good, simple German food. Good German beer on tap. Saurbraten excellent, as it should be in this sort of restaurant. Service is slow.
we came here for the day in the city...and this lace was open...no one around inside thought it was closed...but foound people hanging in the back of the place....we ordered simple dishes nothing crazy---food was a verage, but the service and staff...are a punch of fouled mouth people..not pleasant ...
THIS PLACE COULDNT GET ANY WORSE.....IS IT POSSIBLE THAT YOU COULD GET FOOD POISONING FORM A BASIC PASTA DISH... WELL, YOU CAN IF YOU GO IN HERE. MAYBE IT WAS THE ROACHES RUNNING AROUND IN THE BACK THAT WE SAW, THAT GOT US SICK.... MESS!!!!!!!
