they have really good food but the service is bad...catherine who was taking the to-go order was very impatient. i don't think i'm coming back again becuase of poor customer service!
The food is good, though certainly not traditional Thai. The service isn't the greatest...a bit too presumptuous at times.
I used to go there all the time, but I was REALLY turned off by their silly feud with Tattums (next door) about parking. At dinner time, I would see cars for Cafe de Thai par...
Cafe de Thai provides a consistently excellent dinning experience. This is a local's favorite.
I once went to Cafe de Thai and the attitudes were so pretentious and service was highly unfriendly. I had my check book and they refused to accept my check and I will never dine there again. Try the Green Papaya in Caughlin Ranch Shopping Center, the price is right and service is friendly.
My girlfriend & I stopped here for dinner on a weekday. The service was adequate. The food was not authentic Thai food, however. The food was good, but seemed to be Asian dishes (mostly Chinese) with a Thai flair to them. Worth a visit, but I probably would not return.
Quality that was the hallmark of this restaurant is noticeably slipping.
Lovely design, excellent food. We liked this restaurant very much -- the food was fresh and lively with rich, spicy undertones. Unlike some reviews, we had an excellent waiter and above average service. I also loved the cocktail bar and highly recommend the Ginger Cocktail.
This was a great dining experience for our family. The wait staff was friendly and the food very delicious. We can't wait to return to try some of the specials. My son Liam always likes Thai food but they went nuts over a special they suggested.
Although the Thai food is not necessarily authentic, it was very flavorful and had beautiful presentation. I would go for the atmosphere alone. Our service was also excellent.
I love Cafe De Thai. I thought I wouldn't like it as much as I did. Now It's My Favorite Thai Restaurant! I try to go there every month at least. It isn't that expensive for two people. The service is great, the food, the atmosphere, and the best part is everytime I go there, it isn't crowded. I LOVE...
I love all foods served in CaiE's Oriental Cafe, I moved to the north side of the city now, but I still drive back to South Meadows just for CaiE's foods twice a week... love their foods, their ambience,...the cleanliness of whole cafe, is the cleanest restaurant I had seen, my girlfriend once told ...
I visited Clary's today with a $25 gift certificate. I was told they no longer honor those even though the certificate says it never expires. I was there on June 23rd & the certificate was printed on May 28th!!!!!!
The food in this cafe/deli is okay. The bread was a little dry, but the quality of "middle" ingredients made up for it somewhat. The coffees there are like any others: just as good as starbucks. However, the priceof things are a little high for the amount.
The cafe is lined with fascinating photo...
I have been to this restaurant a few times over the course of many years. I stopped in last night with a couple of friends for a Sat night dinner and will probably not return. We ordered the sizzling rice soup and were shocked to find out that some of the "chicken" was actually chicken SKIN. An ev...
I live in the San Francisco bay area, and I recently went to Reno for a weekend getaway. I had heard of El Pescador from a friend, and they highly recommended it so I thought I might as well try it.
Honestly, I would take a day trip, and drive three hours to eat this food. I haven't been able to s...
There is nothing great about this place, it hardly even rates as mediocre. Mexican food prepared for American palates, lots of pinkish bland sauce and non-descript cheese
I really enjoy the food here but what stands out the most to me (and this is one of my particulars when having Mexican food) is their salsa. It is, by far, the best in Reno.
I am originally from the Midwest and was very disappointed with the quality of the "steak". Did not have the corn fed taste that on grows accustom to in the Midwest. Everyone I had spoken to recommended Harrah's and told me that the quality was top notch. If you're used to mediocre steak, I guess yo...
We had always eaten at this restaurant. We had reservations and were 5 mins. late because my niece had a toddler. They made a huge issue of it even though the restaurant wasn't busy. We were told we would have to wait 20 mins to be seated. I asked for the manager and he was extremely rude to us....
I took my son and his two best friends for his 12th B-day , joining at the table were a mother and her two in thier 20's daughters. The thing is the chef started speaking in spanish to the little chickies for the entire meal. I'm not one to complain, but for the 40.00 a head I want to believe my che...
